That early 1800's Tri Corner hat was just awsome. I don't think he'll have any problem selling that for a nice profit. They seldom come up in any condition. It would appeal to both antique hat collectors and to military collectors.
Hoarders...argh.The items are stuck into corners, derelict buildings, piled upon other piles, and mostly ignored and forgotten. The moment someone else sees an item, it becomes precious. Oh, can't sell that! Not that! And then the item sinks back into dereliction and oblivion. Drew is a master of rescuing items from the dust heap. Think of all the hoards that are not touched until the hoarder dies, and the survivors throw everything onto the tip, or an estate sale is held and the pieces are bought in mass. I don't understand the hoarding compulsion.
Re the child's barber chair; how can you 'find it difficult to let go of something you've forgotten about'? The mentality of these sellers absolutely astounds me! Likewise, the woman with the crappy old chair: 'maybe my upholsterer could refurbish it also'. Yes; probably he/she could so why don't you give it to them for restoration! This show is created for entertainment value but tends to test the credibility of the viewer in my opinion.
How much fun is this. I discovered your show last year, you guys are amazing. Great history, and wonderful items. I will continue to watch your video's. Alot of class and culture, and most of all, Fun!!!! Thanks Drew and crew. Don Wilson, Tacoma, Washington, USA. Cheers!!!
Drew goes through another estate where he sees a lot of things he likes, nothing he loves, then he finds something he loves of the 1 million things in a shed and the lady has to think about it. At least on American Pickers they fill the van up most of the time or they go into the back story of the people instead of the house.
We have lost many of the old shops here in Tacoma, most recently, Tom's toy shop downtown Tacoma. I will miss the shop. Always great fun, Tom and his wife were wonderful people, always treated me right.
Amazing how these people have forgotten all about this stuff, then it suddenly becomes their most treasured possession. 'OOh, I couldn't live without that! I had forgotten allabout it, but I can't be without it! £700? Maybe I Can mabage without it after all!' I thought the Lady of the Manor wasj ust picking his brains and was surprisedwhen she actually sold him the stuff. You could almost see the cogs working. 'Hmm,I could forkout and get it done, but then We have to sell it,or I can flog it to this bloke and have the dosh in my account right now.'
Just discovered this show and enjoying binging out on it. Drew & T are great UK characters who remind me of Spitting Image puppets of Phil Collins & "Weak-Chinned Celebrity To Be Named At A Later Date." :)
@@nicklizardo313 Foreigners don´t understand British humour, Incredibly polite to strangers, but to friends you can say anything. The more insulting, the better!
My thanks, appreciation and respect to you, my wonderful sir. I wish you eternal happiness, health and peace, success and progress in your work. Accept my regards.
In the US: smelly costume - FREE; electrocution box - Destroyed; old 2 legged chair - FREE; meat hook - after ripping holes in coats n towels and snagging scarf threads till ruined - FREE
I love this show but Drew is just mean sometimes. He punches down on T too much. If we could see T knock Drew down once in a while that would be kind of fabulous.
Come on! They´re well known to be great pals. It´s all kidding and banter between D and T.. Maybe B rits are less "delicate" than Yanks? (T also has another business of his own. Nothing to do with the stuff D deals in, but I don´t remember what it is.)
Horders like Lucinda really upsets me, as she is trying to hold on to rubbish that Drew is interested in and she's not even the collector but her husband...grrrrr...
Lucinda was something else. She invited Drew out to purchase “old junk” but doesn’t want to sell anything that’s been in out buildings for decades. What a wasted trip. She doesn’t consider the time, effort and money Drew invested just to drive out there. Self centered individual she is. Narrow minded…..spoiled child that never had to grow up because others provide for her financially all her life.
Why invite him in/agree to him calling in if you don't want to sell stuff? I buy and sell but I don't have a tv show to help offset the lost wages dealing with time wasters.
His wife seems a bit daft. ECT is a well known and effective treatment for depression. The weirdo rich couple who are clearly hoarders, and don't realize it, need help.
Sorry Drew..I’ve tried to get my Grandkids to join your channel…it’s important to learn how to gage a things value….something you have an innate and learned knowledge of….however..the prefer,Mr. Beast…who shows how one can wait for luck to deal your cards…
I like to watch this show also, but it is totally unrealistic. Let's drive 250 miles to make 40 pounds profit, lmao. Let's skip the 100 items I can make a good profit on and find the one with the wow factor. I personally find the scenery and buildings more interesting than the actual point of the show. It is just beautiful in the UK.
You are only seeing edited highlights, they go to lots of places you don't see otherwisw he would have gone broke years ago. Get Drew's autobiography and you will find out more.
I could watch this everyday and all day! Just LOVE this show.
same here! greetings from Tricity in Poland :-)
Me too!
Love it too
Same! So glad I came across this show.
I spend way too much time watching these!

And then they die and the kids don't want any of it.
I guess it is a psychological problem.
Hoarders always have an endless list of future projects…. Its sad to see items that will sit outside and rot away because the hoarder wont sell
For God's sake sell some of that krap , it's totally ridiculous holding on to it..

I had that 'napoleonic' hat and shin cover before, don't know where it is now, friends called old things I've collected "junk"
I just adore Kevin. What a mensch. I think he was a bit smitten with Drew.

That doll is creepy, are you kidding me. You are in Hull, cool place. Thanks Drew.
Loved this thanks for the uploads of this series, spent many a happy hour or two or three lol, xxxx Dede
I love this one the look on the shop owner face over the chair

That woman wirh the chair and meat hooks has serious problem. So terrified someone wil make a penny more than her.
Just discovered this show and enjoying binging out on it. Drew & T are great UK characters who remind me of Spitting Image puppets of Phil Collins & "Weak-Chinned Celebrity To Be Named At A Later Date." :)
Wth can you possibly do with all that stuff!! My God. Its just sitting in storage and rotting away. What good is it?
Dear Tee, I'll buy you a pint my friend. Don't let Drew Electrocute you, once he starts he'll never stop. Luv you, Tee.
Hording is a mental illness and this show highlights it to the max. It’s so sad watching these people agonize over letting go of stuff.
I laughed for probably way too long, seeing as I am a woman, at the ladies night darts joke!! 🤣😂😁
It would be nice if Drew would drive and let T have a beer. That's what a good mate would do.
That's the thing Drew is not a good mate. He treats Tee badly.
@@suzettecalleja3122 Ur right, I saw an interview where Drew says they have been pals for over 20 years.
@@nicklizardo313 Foreigners don´t understand British humour, Incredibly polite to strangers, but to friends you can say anything. The more insulting, the better!
Tee is getting paid for driving and carrying things to the van, so I think it’s only fare that drew does that!
Thanks for the upload!! 5*****!!

In America that cast iron sign you wouldn't be able to find it less than 80 bucks
Fantastic show I would love.new episodes.
it was made 7 years ago - in 2014 - still interesting :-)
thank you! i was wondering the time period
Voltage doesn't kill, current kills or does damage, DC Voltage is a direct current with that contraption very very little current!
WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO THE MANNIQUIN????
Drew deserves a medal for dealing with that wishy washy, annoying woman!

“That. Is a baaahber’s chaaair.”
Oh, the lady with the chair, is so typical!
The tricorn hat is for the lord mayor or sheriff of the city of London
Dear Rebecca !! What she knows about anything could be written in a postage stamp.!!

If your stuff is in a shed , shoved in a pile and you have not used it nor will= sell it. Seriously, I wonder at the mentality
Can’t believe - people want to hang on to things - that will just sit and get dusty - let it go
You can drink one beer and drive.

This woman is driving me nuts!
She's driven many other people nuts also.
I would think that after some time, Tee would grow tired of Drew's mocking.
it is for us, show, public for sure and it is 4th season, now we hsve 15?
Why does Rebeca wear the same white shirt
Bro, I have been noticing that myself.
same day. uniform to work

Work uniform

Never understand why T still works for Drew. He is so demeaning and mean.
I suspect that’s largely part of their shtick.
👍👍👍👍👍
Why or why do they just hang on to junk, piles and piles of useless stuff, yes a few good finds but the rest is junk..
Clive of India was not a hero by any stretch.
