  • At a remote salvage yard near Bournemouth, modern-day treasure hunter Drew Pritchard is drawn to a bathing beauty. Later, he visits an exclusive B&B in Yorkshire.
Drew Pritchard, the owner of one of the UK's largest decorative salvage yards, is always on the lookout for new items to replenish his stock, and he has no qualms about scouring the countryside for them. This series follows Drew as he searches for old and lost pieces of history throughout the world, including some opulent estates. But locating them is only half the battle; Drew must persuade the owner of each object to sell it to him for a good price, and then it's off to the scrapyard, where his team restores it to its former glory before selling it for profit.

You may think people are being ripped off but if they aren't happy with the price they don't have to accept it and we aren't told what an item is worth, only a potential price. Don't forget he has to buy fuel, tax and insure the van, pay for hotels for himself and Tee and then the costs of the shop; insurance, mortgage, upkeep and staff salaries. Read his book for inside information I highly recommend it.

my dad had a pair. they are electro static in design, meaning there is no moving cone, which means they are extremely accurate in reproduction of sound. I remember them sounding very warm, if you know what I mean. He had a bargain there!

I must admit sir I am quite curious about the speakers the sound I mean I am in the process of restoring a pair of ar3s from 1961 the year of my birth and can't wait to hear them and if the fireplace girl needs a home I'll put her up for the night !great show !

At 13:49 there's an incredible image (optical illusion?) behind the white van of a stretch of road that is
A SHEER DROP to the level below. A fall which would surely topple any vehicle. It looks like a waterfall. Can someone please explain?

Quad ESL57 Electrostatic Speakers, You can find a good working unmarked pair for €900. They were made up until the 1980s.

He gave an extra 300 for that table because it is the "right thing to do"...but he has NO problem low balling individual sellers trying to make a living. I watched one where he paid 75 for a fireplace surround that was worth over 1200 and NO problem practically laughing in the sellers face about it.

"Is it a Jekyll?" "I don't know you tell me." "Will 150 buy it?" "Meet in the middle 200?" "I'll have it and yes it's a Jekyll." Brutal. Art Nouveau chimney piece worth £2,200. Proceeds to rubbish it for 5 minutes doubting its authenticity before bidding. Then makes a £950 profit.Gets back to base and says it's real....

The reason no one has heard or that chapel is because its a Victorian still been built folly, built to look like a12th or 13th century cathedral. If it was run by a religious order I can understand why there might be a crypt if not there must have been some harsh punishments dished out. And if that is a dining table with seating on both sides the poor kids must have been starved to death, just about enough space for a mug in front of you.

A public school that is actually highly religious.
In the Words of Simon Cowell: "That`s a NO from me."
Religion, made up stuff, indoctrination, should have absolutely NO place in any school.
