This looks like fun we are going to try this the next time we go there. We live in Asheville NC. Love the videos y'all put out. Love the jail in Marshall NC. My great, great, great-grandfather was sheriff of Madison and Buncombe county during the civil war. Great stuff. Y'all need to go to pretty place. It's just about 20 minutes from Brevard. I know that's a little far but worth the trip. Look it up. God Bless and happy trails.

We always take the 8 mile loop every time we go to the smokies. There’s some interesting stuff and good eats on the loop. One of the things my wife purchased one year and loves it was a pottery egg separator. Fridays Forever thanks for letting people know about the loop. They will enjoy it.

Been back there everytime we're in town. Should try fox and parrot resturant.
    It's British food.😊
Back in there is a artist Hippostel, he also has a Inn back on this hills. Find it and they welcome people to walk around property. May even meet the owner.

Even though I haven't commented in a while, I watch all y'alls videos.😊 Our last 2 visits to the Smokies we've made a trip to the Gatlinburg's Arts and Crafts Community. The Morning Mist Village is our favorite place. Always buy something there for my She Shed. 😉But you have to definitely be careful crossing the road there on the curve.😬 My daughter Britney loves stopping at the Painted Bear Coffee Co. Thanks for sharing the loop with us. God Bless!

I love the Arts and Crafts Community! When we visited there last in 2017, we looked for a Native American Man that had wood carvings and paintings on Glades Road just past Cole Lane. He was located just before the Leather Shop on the lefthand side of the road just after Cole Lane. We bought a painting of his in 2016 when we were there, then looked for him the next year and he was gone. We asked the guys in the Leather Shop, and they knew him, David Youngblood. They said he had been ill and been in the hospital. I told this to at least three other RUclipsrs in that area and they were going to see if they could find out about him, but none ever did. :( I always get excited when I see a video showing the Arts and Crafts Community. Always hoping to maybe see that nice gentleman again. Thanks for this video, Mike & Karen! Hope you have a wonderful weekend! 💛

We find that it was a lot more "craftier" years ago than it is now, things have definitely changed. We love the area so much, but we have to be truthful. Keep up the great videos Mike & Karen, we love 'em.
