I have seen those trucks before just never seen how they work.
You’ve got great smooth style, I’ve always wanted to surf but never have, living in Washington State surfing is a little different then Cali, Hawaii, Thailand etc, but surfing 2 feet of fresh powder has got to have the same sensation ?
Been snowboarding 39 years now and have always emulated surfers tucked knee style or skater Steve Cabelleros style. Back in the day we would duct tape a tapered piece of oak to the inside of our back foot binding, creating a 1/2” lift allowing for easier knee tuck similar to surfers foot pads (not a surfer don’t know proper name). Some binding companies offer this which in snowboarding is called cant footbed, but what I’ve found with those is that they don’t offer enough lift. I’ve even looked at those surfboard footpad to cut up and stick to the binding baseplate, but they’d need some height trimming they’re pretty tall.
That’s one thing I always tell people that I’ve taught over the years to do when riding TUCK THAT KNEE
