This song was actually co-written by Airrion Love and Russell Thomkins Jr., one of very few, none of which were hits. Love did have a truly beautiful and uneque voice and it's too bad he didn't sing lead more often.

Not Russell Thompkins jr. He was the voice of the Stylistics, the sound for over 30 years. And made them a name & fame.

This was Airrion Love singing. He co-led sang with Russell Thomkins Jr. on the Stylistics 1973 hit 'You Make Me feel Brand New'. This song was actually co-written by Airrion Love and Russell Thomkins Jr., and is one of very few songs (none of them hits) any of the Stylistics actually wrote themselves before the 1980's.
