Did a lot of research on padlocks. If you're primarily/only using carry-on luggage, skip the TSA locks and get some decent Abus 72/30 or 72/40 locks. If you have more money, then get some Abloy PL321 locks. Plus maybe a bike cable or chain.
Thanks for the tips :)
Lol, I love the word "Whilst".. So British. Great point about looking at people on their phones!! That was such a problem in Buenos Aires, I never liked to keep my phone out very much.
I had never thought of "whilst" as being an overly British word, but I guess it is! Haha! Thanks Jon :) I've often wondered how I'd feeling vlogging in places like Buenos Aires, it would be such a shame to go but not get my camera out for fear of it being stolen!
I have been a Travel Agent for +15 years and she is hitting all the marks when it comes safe travel. Do see her Video on International Flight Connections, her advice is spot on. While she speaks of Hostels, her smart observations fit with AirBnb, MisterBnb and other home stays where more than one visitor is in the accommodation on the same days as you. Journey On!
Thank you so much for your comment. Its great to hear from someone with so much experience within the travel industry and know that I am on the right lines!
Great video!
The quality of this video is so good!! Did you use any kind of lighting device for this? Also, is this on the Canon G7X? Dang I need to get my hands on one of those... :) Great advice, too!
Ah thanks lovely! It was filmed on the G7X Mark ii and I was playing around with the manual video settings (aperture etc). I had a window in front of me, with very little natural daylight thanks to the beautiful British weather, my main bedroom light and some kind of office spotlight (it's in my day in the life video), so no fancy lighting setup! Just used what I had! :)
Setting some bear traps near the locker lol
Haha! Knowing my luck, I would be the first person to walk into any bear traps!! :D
I enjoyed your formatting of this video, getting my stuff stole while traveling has always been a fear of mine. Is that a unicorn next to your bed?? What's it for?
Thanks! I think it is a fear for most people to be honest. YES! That is Peter and he collects up my loose coins. I guess you would call him a Unicorn bank!?
Do you vlog ??
Yes, when I'm actively travelling I vlog. I will be vlogging all of my journey around Southeast Asia from January onwards :)
Are you a model?
Thanks for the tips! anyways, im from cambodia if you planning on a trip to Southeast Asia please drop by.
No problem! I will definitely be coming to Cambodia :)
