I love that market, been there twice for a few hours each time, and still haven't seen all of it. You can definitely get just about anything you need though, and a lot of times at better prices than you'll find anywhere else! Even if you're only just looking it's a great place to spend a few hours, and there's always food close by if you get hungry. Thanks Hannah, seemed like a lovely day!!

It's so big isn't it!? The prices were actually very reasonable when I asked :) You're welcome, it was indeed a great day! Glad you've also had chance to enjoy Chatuchak!

Thats so good that there is no pressure and no hassle! My experience of other markets in other places is the same as yours so thats cool there is no pressure!

I was expecting mega pressure, so yes, it was really nice not to have that!

The market is cool. I also hung out at the CHATUCHAK park for a few hours.

If you use MRT to go to JJ market, don’t get off at Chatuchak station but get off at Kampangpetch station instead as it’s located in the middle of the market. Then you don’t have to walk at all from the station.

It's easier to get off at MRT Khumpheangphet station. It's right in the middle of the market.

The BTS is very simple to use and such a great way to get around Bangkok, we just got a rabbit card and kept topping that up as and when we needed to. I didn't manage to go to that market so its definitely on the list for next time I go hopefully this year at some point! Be sure to try some Kanom Krok in Bangkok 30-35 baht for a tray full of yumminess :)

Agreed, the BTS and MRT are both extremely easy to use. You should definitely try and get to the market if you can :) I have no idea what that is but I will have to investigate! Thanks :)
