I love that market, been there twice for a few hours each time, and still haven't seen all of it. You can definitely get just about anything you need though, and a lot of times at better prices than you'll find anywhere else! Even if you're only just looking it's a great place to spend a few hours, and there's always food close by if you get hungry. Thanks Hannah, seemed like a lovely day!!
It's so big isn't it!? The prices were actually very reasonable when I asked :) You're welcome, it was indeed a great day! Glad you've also had chance to enjoy Chatuchak!
I love Thai markets. I could spend hours and hours just looking around but mostly eating:) -Ash
Oh Ash you are not wrong! The food all looks incredible :D
This is the best Thailand vlog I've seen.
Thats so good that there is no pressure and no hassle! My experience of other markets in other places is the same as yours so thats cool there is no pressure!
I was expecting mega pressure, so yes, it was really nice not to have that!
The market is cool. I also hung out at the CHATUCHAK park for a few hours.
It is great isn't it! The Park seemed pretty nice too :) Just chilled!
If you use MRT to go to JJ market, don’t get off at Chatuchak station but get off at Kampangpetch station instead as it’s located in the middle of the market. Then you don’t have to walk at all from the station.
It's easier to get off at MRT Khumpheangphet station. It's right in the middle of the market.
The BTS is very simple to use and such a great way to get around Bangkok, we just got a rabbit card and kept topping that up as and when we needed to. I didn't manage to go to that market so its definitely on the list for next time I go hopefully this year at some point! Be sure to try some Kanom Krok in Bangkok 30-35 baht for a tray full of yumminess :)
Agreed, the BTS and MRT are both extremely easy to use. You should definitely try and get to the market if you can :) I have no idea what that is but I will have to investigate! Thanks :)
Yeah i will definitely go next time I also want to visit the floating market too. Haha its coconuty filled goodness soo good especially when made fresh. I used to visit a lady by Saphan Taksin outside the Robinson store her and her mom made them :)
Yes I was sad I missed the floating market, hopefully I may still have chance to se it. Ooh that sounds good.I'm guessing they're veggie!? Might have to see if she is still there, thanks!!
I've been there: that market is really cool!
Hehe I think it's somewhere you should definitely visit if you're here over a weekend. Its free to look after all!

Thank you! In all honesty I don't remember seeing any but I'm sure you would find some somewhere in Bangkok, in the malls maybe if not at the market :)
