It was a great thrill and honour to be part of this. Everyone was at the top of their game. When I suggested to two Cathedral Guides after the last rehearsal that they must hear lots of choirs perform in here they replied " Yes - but not like this one!" It was truly exhilarating, a never-to-be-forgotten moment.

Our lives are not our own, you have shared, worked hard and inspired the world with a true gift that directs our attention to God. We praise Him aloud for another new day.
Psalm 143 for the suffering, "In the morning let me know your love, for I put my trust in you. Make me know the way I should walk: to you I lift up my soul."

Bravo, Dan, Pearl, performers. I closed my eyes and heard swirls of sound. My mind saw images of the aurora borealis. It was as if the Creator was raising his hands across the skies and calling forth the universe into being.

Another beautiful, moving work by Dan Forrest! I was moved to tears when the soloist started singing "Creator of the Stars of Night" and into the following section. The organ plus chamber ensemble of instruments is so well done, making this a work more churches will be able to use. As a church choir director and organist, I appreciate this thoughtful scoring. "Oh Christ thou Savior of us all, now hear Thy servants when they call." Amen.

Penned below listening to this brilliant arrangement...
    FATHER, ETERNAL,
    YOUR GREATNESS
    STRETCHES OUR IMAGINATION
AND WE ARE STILL LEFT WANTING
    TO KNOW MORE OF YOU
IN THE COURSE OF A MILLION LIFETIMES
ONE WOULD NOT BEGIN TO UNDERSTAND
EVEN THE MOST REMOTE WISDOM OF YOU
    FATHER, SO DIVINE
    OPEN MY UNDERSTANDING
    ABOUT YOUR HOLY BEING
AND GRANT ME INTO YOUR SACRED PRESENCE
    WITH THE MOST HUMBLE AND
    UTMOST REVERENT SPIRIT
TO BEHOLD ONE SUCH AS YOU
