A walk down Manila's legendary P. Burgos street, one of the red light districts, known mostly for Go go bars and Massage parlors. However I found that there are regular bars, unique and chill, fun people, mostly foreigners from many different countries who are out and about checking out the unique nightlife (And what is arguably the indigenous wildlife) in this urban region of the Philippines.

Yes, it's bizzare. Sometimes I see old photos and video of me, and I can't believe it. I initially made the change because I became unhappy with my appearance. And as I learned more, it became more about health and longevity. Now I just like being strong. It makes such a big difference in how I feel. I'm often a bit sore (In a good, weight training way) but no longer in pain. I learned discipline trumps motivation. Thanks!!
Great video and love all your content. I cant wait to get back to Makati and dive back into the bar scene. Speaking to some friends who just came back and they said the best bar to visit is a place called Lips on Pburgos and HNJ is still going strong. Lips must be a new bar as I cant see it on your video and it wasn't there when I last came to Manila.

I often feature lips (but mostly on the members only Manila after dark series) lips is relatively new, one of my favorite spots. But it’s been there almost 2 years now. It’s changed a lot since it opened (upstairs is now a gogo bar) but a good one! Nice choreographed shows, athletic dancers, fire breathing dancers… it’s a good time. But I still like the downstairs vibe- Good old rock music.

There are guidelines for "situational awareness" that incorporate how i position myself when interracting with others, as well as interpreting body language and intent. Maybe i have been lucky, but as many say YOLO!
It's not like the whole of the Philippines is a walking district! Choose the places you go, beautiful beaches and beautiful people both inside and out.But of course you cant forget there are a few bad ones such as scammers. Just like in any city in the world BE CAREFUL!
+tua Yes - Definitely (Thank you!) The Philippines are amazing, and so are the people. There are over 7,000 islands in the archipelago. Burgos isn't even representative of the city or culture. It's just controversial and over-hyped because it's a red light district.

Yes, i went through a transformation indeed. Lost a lot of weight, and rejuvenated a lot of years since this video. That area of Poblacion is (was) so much more than the red light vibe. But the Globalist lockdown agenda really hit the area hard.

Mabuhay Philippines.... love the Filipinos, their English is the best in all of Asia and I have found that most are really nice for real, especially in the country (barrio) though IMHO. I met my Filipina wife in Church, married 47 years now, three grown kids and eight grandkids.... great lover, super clean and better cook than any restaurant. Want a really good wife? Filipinos are the best if you do your due diligence of course.

There is a great place to stay just a couple of blocks from this street (P Burgos St) in Makati. The luxurious building is called Knightsbridge Residences. We stayed at unit 0911 and we had an amazing experience! Booked through Airbnb and considering the unit to be a one bedroom with Netflix, blazing fast internet speed of 50 mbps and kitchet amenities, the daily rate is very much worth it!
It is located in Poblacion Makati walking distance to Century City Mall, restaurants, bars and clubs. Nearby grocery stores (SM Hypermarket, Rustans etc). Great amenities that comes FREE with what you paid like fitness gym, kid and adult swimming pool, game room, play room, movie room, sauna etc. Definitely a very nice place to enjoy with your partner.

Yes, it's safe, especially in BGC, or the Poblacion area where this video was shot. It's pretty much 24/7 establishments, there are security guards posted for each business. This video is older, this area has changed - It's more of a hip nightlife spot now. There are many more Bars, restaurants, roof decks and places to chill. Just don't be drunk and stupid and buy stuff being sold on the street, and you'll be fine.

I don’t think the sidewalks are equipped with ramps at the curbs. The pavements are uneven and broken in spots. The street isn’t much better.
It’s not impossible, but it would be very challenging, mostly because it gets so crowded.
I wouldn’t recommend going it solo in a chair. If you had a companion to assist you, you could swing it.

Kiko Jimenez I have been on PBurgos for seven years, months at a time. I have never once heard anyone call it "airs r us"...or even close. I have many many many friends from all over the world that go there and never once had an issue. I have many many many friends that actually work on PBurgos and never had anything like that. PBurgos is the red light district for Makati...but it is MUCH MUCH safer there than most places in America.

Hi - It's mostly jet service and it's very reasonable. I flew from Manila to points in Visayas a few times round trip for less than $95/US . What you have to check is "how far" is the destination airport from where you are going!! What time does the plane leave/return? Is it a 6 hour road trip from Puerto Princessa to El Nido? Yes - Actually it is. Can you fly direct?? Sometimes - But that might be expensive (Usually a small strip and a puddle-jumper). P. Burgos has elements similar to what is referred to as a walking street. But it isn’t really. It’s in the Poblacion region which has become known more of a destination for bars and many cool new restaurants.

It’s not ideal, it would be very challenging. If you have some assistance you could manage. I wouldn’t recommend you try it solo. It’s just too crowded and the sidewalks/curbs are irregular and in disrepair.

Thanks, this is what it was like before the Globalist lockdown agendas. Greenbelt One through five is a series of upscale connected indoor and outdoor malls and restaurants in Makati. It is near, maybe a 25 minute walk from Burgos, about 5 or 10 minutes in a Jeepney or taxi.
