I have found that Buccaneers, and Secret door are hotspots to meet Filipinas who are just looking for a fun night out on the town. Planning a trip to Manila in November, just started watching your vids to kind of see what I can expect. Great content so far, can't wait to visit.
Thank you! I'm glad you found the channel and find the content helpful. I have recently been producing videos in more of a guide format. So bros like you can get a sense of where to go, what to expect, and how much all this madness will cost. You can roll like a baller here on the cheap. But it can also get away from you. Check the makati and BGC playlists. Those are the two major central nightlife and lifestyle cities...There is always Eastwood, nice, but small... But that's Quezon, kind of far out. BGC, and poblacion is where it's jumping off.

Hey great vid! What time would you suggest to get to Buccaneers for on the weekend, What do u consider "early" over there ?
Thanks, glad to hear you enjoyed the video. We often say the weekend starts on Thursday in Manila. And we also don't usually go out until after 10. So I would say early for Buccaneers is 9 or 10 on a Friday or Saturday night. Weds and Thursdays you can usually get a seat inside before 11. But weds is ladies night, so it can also fill up fast early because the ladies drink special ends at midnight.

Thank you. You might find one. But don't hold your breath. The last "organized" tour I saw here was anything but. And those facilitating the event obviously had better things to do than the event. A lot of folks bailed on it. There is a thing here called Filipino time, wherein people are way more than fashionably late. That throws a spanner into the whole schedule concept. Yku could get lucky, I'm sure it can't be all bad. It's more complicated than it needs to be, and apparently the thing is, they need the bars to sign on, they need the seats reserved, and they need the tickets sold. It's a lot to put together when half the people don't show up anywhere near on time.

Check out agoda it really depends on how much you want to spend.
You can get private dorm style rooms for $14 per night in Makati, and budget hotel rooms for $21 a night. I don't know about discounts for long term stays. I usually would recommend airbnb for discounts on long stays.

Buccaneers looks really great! I now see why you've mentioned it before. This video really gave off a good vibe of the place, it showed well. And the gil bartender in the red top and jeans (standing in top the bar and pouring free shots into mouths) had a pretty smile.
I just need to have a Johnny Depp mask made, and I'll be set! (Please tell me Buccaneers is a pirates theme! Lol)
We often have a good time there, it's very popular with some of our nightlife crew here. It most definitely is a mariner, or pirate theme, it's the premiere rum bar in Makati, maybe even in all of Manila.
What were ya's all drinking at Buccaneers, was it chilled white wine?

Yes, they serve wine by the bottle. But the crew will usually just chip in for a bottle of vodka, tequila or Jack. Popular drinks... sip sip tingol 😉.

Can you still "get" girls form organic bars? Like do they show interest to fool around or they only there to get you to spend money on drinks?
All I can tell you brother is if you have the means to do so just hop on a plane and go. Filipinas are probably the least intimidating and most approachable women in the world IMO. It's like heaven on earth if you're a single man, especially if you're coming from the US. Lol
But be warned there is a thing called PPD (post Philippines depression) for a reason. 😅
Of course they show interest. Many Filipinas genuinely like foreign guys. Some only date foreigners. They are friendly, and like to chat and especially to dance.
In my opinion filipinas that only "date" foreigners is a huge red flag and usually means high maintenance/high mileage types. Which is the total opposite of your regular average Filipina.
Which will result in a low quality western woman type of experience.
@@philippineswithjohndoe5529 I can see that, however, there are so many Filipinas that have been burned by a Pinoy in a relationship, they just don't want it anymore. So many girls tell me "he cheated me". Or they say the magic words... The old joke (how do you make a Filipino dissapear? ) " I'm pregnant" and Abra cadabra, gone in a puff of smoke. Now obviously that's not always the case, but pinay in general often don't want to date a pinoy. And then there are those who only want to date a Filipino. It's never one size fits all. But they aren't always looking for money, they are looking for maturity, kindness, loyalty and shared western values. They think a mature western guy will be ready to settle. And in a lot of cases that is true. Older guys like me come here, find an amazing Filipina, and if she gets the kindness and loyalty, she is head and shoulders better at caretaking and companionship than entitled, psyop-feminist preprogrammed western girls. Then there are the kpop girls, they only want a Japanese or Korean guy, it's becoming more of a thing here.
@@itsManilaBaybee The "I don't want a Pinoy", "Pinoy no good" said to foreigners is in my opinion mostly to gaslight cherry foreigners and therefore NOT true.
Since the dawn of time these girls know Filipino guys cheat, drink and party with their friends but first and foremost they love and respect their countrymen far greater than any foreigners. These girls only want foreigners for money, USA citizenship and they know the average foreigner male is a huge simp and easily controlled and dominated, just like western women do. All red flags.🚩🚩
When you said shared western values, I laughed and another red flag. A Filipina that has lived her life in the Philippines IMO has no western values and she can't get or understand those values being on her back 24/7.
The only western values a Filipina knows is from an endless stream of thirsty desperate foreigners who flood into the country with their wallets, pay & supporting the first Filipina they meet including poor uneducated, unemployed,oldies and single mothers, something they know local guys won't do. So are Filipinos bad partners or just smart leaving all the head cases and low hang fruit for foreigners?
Who will chat up a girl online then travel to the Philippines and marry her? Foreigners or Pinoy's?
Foreigners of course and the girls know it and target the foreigners with what I call Filipina culture specifically and only for foreigners.

You may not know but any advice on finding a relatively cheap flight over to the Philippines? Everything is $2500 during the summer, gets cheaper, like $1300 in September but that’s rainy season.
I’ll be traveling alone, wanting to meet people, any advice? It’s gotten harder as I’ve gotten older, 37 now. And I mean organically meet people, normal average people.
Thanks for checking out the video and your inquiry. My advice is book farther in advance, book using a VPN, try booking late on a Tuesday night. Check agoda and bundling lodging with flight, never book directly through the airline. Look for a moderate connection (maybe a few hours in Japan or somewhere) connecting flights can be cheaper than direct. And you want a layover of a few hours in case there are delays. The cheapest week to fly just passed (holy week) but it's deadsville in Manila, and a mob scene at the beaches.
Easy to meet people here. Just be friendly, smile, be bold, and ready to dance. Filipinas love to dance, most of the girls I connect with here I meet on the dance floor. And I'm much older than you, so no worries. There is almost no age discrimination here. And it's a late night town... the later you are out, the drunker and friendlier people get. Be ready to stay out until the wee hours
And/or at the risk of shameless self promotion, you can opt to join my channel as a member and some of the perks are I can set up a nightlife itinerary and fly as your wingman. Unless I'm in boracay or someplace. Just something to think about, helps to plan it as much in advance as you can. I'm thinking of doing boracay end of April, first couple of weeks in May.

Are these freelancers? How much is the short time going rate?
There are almost never any freelancers in Buccaneers. Sometimes there are a few in Secret door. There is no "going rate" I've had girls tell me everything from 1500php (if they really like and want you) up to 4k php ($75). But I just laugh at that sh*t. This is Manila, you can find nice, normal girls here to stand by you, they just want a kind loyal man to be a caring partner. I don't pay people to spend time with me, and in 12 years, I've never been single in the Philippines.

Except for boracay and traveling, I don't think I've ever stayed in a hotel that is not in BGC or Makati. Maybe the Marco polo hotel in Ortigas. The place looked nice, they have a swank Skybar. Why not in BGC or Makati?

Sure, when the company pays for it. But $50 per head is not a normal dinner in the Philippines. I spend about $50 a week on food/groceries here. And that's for 3 meals a day.

That was an Andok's. It's a popular Filipino chain restaurant that specializes in serving straight up roasted chicken (and other chicken dishes). It's cheap, and 24/7.

Google maps will show you. Makati is part of Metro Manila. There are 16 cities that comprise the metro. Manila city is about 11 km from the city of Makati.

@NewMinority You can get eggs and fruit anywhere. There is BBQ, but it's mostly Filipino style, pork and chicken or intestines. But you can get beef kebabs in a lot of places as well.
