      I definitely prioritize meeting up with channel members. But sometimes, I take subscribers out who pay for a night out on the town. Sometimes, guys(and girls) want to highroll, and sometimes, they just want to pub crawl. All depends on what kind of experience they want and what they want to spend. • @itsManilaBaybee
      @itsManilaBaybee  Год назад +1

      Sometimes, they usually just go Dutch, though I find generosity here takes many forms. Filipinas that can't treat per se will prioritize caring for you, kindness, time, cooking, affection, intimacy... Those things often have more value than a night out.

      @@itsManilaBaybee "will prioritize caring for you, kindness, time, cooking, affection, intimacy."
      As in a girlfriend and typical filipina gf behavior, if so that's usually 24/7 with a good filipina and doesn't require a night out in a club or restaurant. Good filipinas always spoil their bf with no strings attached.
      Regular Filipina(s) friends are no going to give a guy "intimacy" because he treated her to a night out, as her contribution.
      Or did I misunderstand you?

    • @itsManilaBaybee
      @itsManilaBaybee  Год назад

      @philippineswithjohndoe5529 I think it's traditional Filipina behavior, but it certainly isn't regular. If you can bring me up to date, with your years of experience, I will appreciate it. I love your video's of the Philippines party scene.

    • @itsManilaBaybee
      @itsManilaBaybee  Год назад +1

      It's always a mixed bag, but I can confirm that a lot of professional, career oriented women i know here often have tattoos, especially in BPO. I also see it in healthcare and accounting. They aren't traditional in the sense that they sacrifice family for career. Just because they are educated and well employed doesn't mean they are high quality, although many are. I've known many that are super generous and sweet. And known many who get reactive and are liars. But to your point, tattoos and drinking isn't a warning flag or indicator for high or low maintenance. Some are, some aren't. Tattoos are becoming more and more common here in middle and upper class career profiles.

I don't know, I just know I have to re-edit and re-upload videos 2 or 3 times to get them approved. They don't tell you what or where in the video is a problem. They just say you violated a policy and send you the very vague policy guidelines for you to guess at what may have triggered the censorship. So I just make the videos I want to make, provide them to members, and edit them down until YT approves a version for public monetization.

      "Ageless body, timeless mind", a concept that most people can’t grasp. In the Philippines we boil it down to age doesn’t matter. Clubs have a Minimum age for entry… Not a maximum one. Aging is just another word for living, why limit yourself on the heliocentric model for measuring age? When I’m booking tours, or the wife wants to hit the nightlife in Manila - I don’t say no. Why is it creepy to take your girl out with a couple of new friends? It's a YT video... I understand It's not uncommon for people to unconsciously attribute their thoughts, feelings, or behaviors to another person. Thanks though for the feedback, it's always insightful to see what people think when they see the edited production.

    This area is only 2.4 kilometres square. Very tiny and mostly for first world foreigners to get a subpar replica of home but still very much 3rd world slum vibes. Philippines is a very poor and underdeveloped country. According to the world bank, 37% of the population still live in slums as of 2020. With a gdp per capita (PPP) of 11420 in 2023, which is only half of the world average of 22226, making it one of the poorest countries in the world. Majority of the population eat refried chicken bones from the trash known as pagpag.

      The poblacion barangay is pretty small. No doubt. But it's packed with great restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. I can't deny elements of the fabulous Philippines are very 3rd world. But it's slowly but surely up and coming.

    I would love to watch more but it’s so annoying that you cut out everything just to get subscribers. It’s not true that you can’t show more because I see it all the time. You’re just greedy

      Thanks for the feedback. Let's clarify terminology. Firstly, "advertiser suitability guidlelines." A video is required to pass these in order to be monetized with ads NOT in order to be uploaded or published. Of course, I could "show more," and I do, but not for public youtube subscribers... For Members. Member only videos have no monetization or ads. They do need to pass the guidelines. Maybe you could contact youtube and tell them to ease off the guidelines?
      Sure, I can upload videos that "show more" AND won't be monetized, but why publish for zero ad revenue?
      I make the videos I enjoy, and if YT doesn't like them for their advertisers, that's just more work for me. Now I have to guess what is being flagged, re=edit the video, re-upload it, request a manual review, wait for approval [and if it fails... do it all over again] ... it's a process.
      Since YT offers a channel membership, I still publish the videos I produce for people who want to see what's going on and don't mind helping to support the channel. Videos are work, and most people earn revenue for work. You probably don't work for free?
      Call my motive whatever you want, but don't erroneously imply that my method is driven by something that it's not.
