Can't wait for Unicorn Overlord and Paper Mario TTYD. I'm also hoping we finally see Fate/Extra Record which has been my most anticipated game for a long time.
I spent more than 100 hrs in the DS version of Fantasy Life completing every job. I loved it and can't wait for the new one which looks pretty much the same. I don't know that it was underrated though. I was under the impression it sold very well. But maybe people stopped talking about it unlike some other really fun DS games. I still occasionally play on my 3DS and regularly on my Vita. I will probably get the Suikoden remaster, and Shiren. Love those series. Looks like another stellar year coming up! Thanks Jordan!

The only ones that I am looking forward to are Trails Into Daybreak and Eiyuden Chronicles which I will be playing on PS5 as well as thousand year door which I will be playing on the Switch. I am also looking forward to FF7 Rebirth on PS5.
During the 90s and 2000s I considered my self a gamers with lots of knowledge of games during that period. But now with the internet and free region games, I am so overwhelmed, so many games, now I don’t know any of them, and I don’t have time to play them. I played tears of the kingdom for 3 months, and during this period of time I buyed like 4 games. So this means while I play 1 game that takes me like 1 month, I buy and extra 4 games that require each one 1 month of gameplay. I need to live my life like 4 times to be able to play everything I am interested in, so actually I don’t mind this is the last year of the switch, I still need to play like 100 games to finish my switch collection. From the video the most interesting games I am in suikoden, I loved the second one, I have never played the first one, and the other game from the creators of suikoden, I liked so much the second game, this makes me exited.
Those Suikoden games look more like a slightly better Kemco RPG than Octopath imo.. I have all the Kemco RPGS so it's not exactly a swipe, but I feel like Konami should have done Suikoden a bit better.
Xuan Yuan is great, I have it physical for ps4 and it has a ps5 patch... looks great. Now on the switch I wouldn't really know how it could run honestly but hey... in terms of gameplay it is perfect for portable gaming
I most excited for SaGa Emerald Beyond. Also SaGa will never get a big budget lol. Hironobou Sakaguchi only gave Akitoshi Kawazu the green light to make Makai Toushi SaGa only on the Game Boy and expected it to fail...it became Square's first million seller.
I don't know, Unicorn looks a bit too 'crowded', like there's no much space left on the screen for in-depht mechanics and choices. That's the impression it gives, but I'm hoping I'm wrong and get surprised

As someone who spent the past couple of years playing through all 10 available (officially translated) Trails games, I feel like (a) it was totally worth it; and (b) the series kind of ruined me for other RPGs... so now it's hard for me to get excited about any other than Daybreak. Sounds like I need to play Suikoden though!

Tim is a fantastic name for the following professions: tech support guy in the office, HR assistant, children's entertainer. What it's not good for: RPG heroes. Same with Clive. What were Final Fantasy thinking? Clive is a guy who goes on photography trips.
God! I wished Sony just gave up Dark Cloud IP to Level 5 so we could get a sequel or at least two remastered to modern systems. Sony ain't doing anything to it. Instead they just pumping out yet another remastered to a The Last of Us game, along with a rumored Horizon Zero Dawn that in which looked when playing on PS5 via backward compatible. In fact Sony should even give other IPs like Gravity Rush to a more dedicated company as well.
I got burned too often to be excited for any new JRPG anymore till I can get confirmation that the game has been properly translated and not localized by overzealous americans. As I am a big fan of Legend of Heroes I will not buy this NISA release after one of the previoulsy mentioned burns was Trails into Reverie's god awful localization, insted I will buy the chinese Steam version once I'm ready to play it (or it's on sale) and apply a fan translation. Well I guess Xuan Yuan Sword VII I can buy without worries as it's by EAS.
Trails is so overhyped unless you like extremely slow games with tons of dialogue that basically says nothing of importance or interesting value at all

Japan has Cold Steel 1&2 on Switch, it just needs someone to get the rights, apply the already existing translations and release them.

Tim is a fine name. Tim does tap for 1 damage in magic, cosres 2 mana, and is a 1/1 creature. Excellent.
