    Useful information for me here in Canada. I just bought my first two-handed rod I’ll used for Atlantic Salmon on medium river. I missed Nam Demo last june near my place, too bad I did not know about it! I went for Sage.

    Lot of greater info in your last couple clips to only be watched once.
    It won’t hurt try few rods with unmatched lines, like under & over lining 100 to 200 grains in the most powerful rods by only roll to Spey casting.
    Thank you for the time and work!!

    Hi Guys, great shootout. When it comes to Danish fishing like the skjern on all stretches and possibly Sweden or Norway in the future what model of the Delgado or Ren would you recommend? Looking to catch my first salmon next year but doubting between the 12'.6" 7# ren or 12.7 7# delgado or the 13.3 8# Delgado or 13' 8# Ren . Due to accesability it will be Skjern/Storå in the beginning but i would like it to be useful elsewhere too. Thanks in advance!

    Thanks for this massive review!
    What do you think is the best line class/length combination for the Skjern river? Planning a trip in early season to hunt the big ones. I´m struggling between 7 and 8 weight.

    Thank you for the video Daniel. A very inspiring series on salmon fishing together with recommendations for gear. One question remains, is there any rod that is particularly useful/ adapted for the underhand cast (I learned the underhand cast from a Danish Flyfisher)

    • @NordicAnglers
      @NordicAnglers  Год назад

      Most rods will deliver that cast well :) It's more about finding the right line, to the individual waters/rods :)

    I am very curious how the Hardy Ultralite NSX DH rod compares to all of these.

      @sigmundlindkvist9885 Год назад

      I bought the Ultralight NSX when I broke the Asquith. To be honest I did not miss the Asquith, and the difference is not big. Ultralight is as light in the hand and feels slightly more powerful, although not as crisp..

      I used my new Hardy Ultralite NSX 13,6 ft in Alta river and in several other rivers this summer, and its just amazing. I have never used a better rod. Both the speycasting and getting salmons on land (the largest was 14 kilo) went like a dream.
