Gunn said they went for the Top Gun look but Maverick’s IMAX scenes worked because the camera was hard-mounted in and around aircraft, this just looks like a free-floating camera without the handheld look from Man of Steel
This is a very good point! I think they should have considered how odd the clip looked in the editing room to be honest. A man is not eh same as a whole aircraft 😂
@@gravelknotIt's a few seconds long tv spot. Why are we even making a fuss about this? Even if it appears in the movie it's still only a few seconds. Are we saying they should fix every second of the movie. I'm not defending him but it's just such a minor thing in the grand scheme of things. But the internet is gonna dissect every damn shot just to find something to talk about.
@@akwilson1676a teaser represents the glimpses of the movie the creators want to showcase the most. Even though it was short, if that clip was something that they didn’t think looked off at all AND then proceeded to showcase it, then you can’t really be surprised at the amount of people that get concerned about it. You might not think it was that big a deal personally, but A LOT of fans didn’t like it
Yall know trailer was done a while back.... And the cgi wasn't done THEN.... so it's going to look way sharper by the time it's release. Youre a generation of instant satisfaction and haven't learned to just chill and wait. Youre all judging 1 minute of 1 to 4 seconds of clips mixed from a movie that's probably going to span near a 2 hour mark. Stop trying to get ahead of the game and compare what's better, this or Man of Steel... Just wait and ssssssssssstfu little cry babies. Chill
I mean... if you watched my video in it's entirety then you would know that I said that the VFX on the scene probably wasn't finished yet, and that filmmakers make changes right up to the last minute. I've noticed people rush to the comments to give their opposition but don't realise I actually agree with them (for the most part)
This flight scene, respectfully in opposition to those who don't like it, is absolutely amazing/beautiful! I love it! My first thought when seeing it, aside from how brilliantly done it is, was, "Wow, They are nailing the difference with how Superman looks compared to his Clark Kent iteration in this movie." Great Job! Finally, I am not a fanboy of James Gunn or any other director. I just love a good movie and Superman is my favorite superhero of all time. Hopefully, this will be a good movie. Although I prefer Brandon Routh as the new Superman (I did not like Superman Returns), I want to give Corenswet a chance to see what he will be like in the role since the chances of Brandon being Superman again are zero-to-none. But as I stated above, I respect the opinions of others here and this is just my two cents on it. Everyone, I hope we all get a Superman movie we enjoy, and to all...have an awesome rest of your day!
Thank you for sharing! I always encourage difference in opinions about movies on this channel 🤝 Although I personally wasn’t a fan of that 3 second clip, I’m still not gonna let that take away from the trailer over all. I will happily join you in giving Corenswet the chance! I also agree with you that they did nail the difference in appearance between Clark and Superman, that was actually VERY well done in my opinion. I DO still think this movie is going to be good, for the sake of the new DC universe I HOPE it’s good!
Did you watch my video in it’s entirety? Because if you did, you’d know that I’m still looking forward to the movie coming out? Also I think it’s completely valid for people to question something that doesn’t look good in a new upcoming multi million dollar superman movie 🤷♂️
@RandallsDiversion My bad, assumed you were including me in the “yall” 😅 I think the backlash was a mixture of people who were truly worried because they want this movie to be the best it can possibly be, and people who just don’t like Gunn or what he wants to achieve with the DCU
This movie is Snyders superman meets Gaurdians of the galaxy. Im gona get superman 1988 47 remastered and rematser it again with 60fps. Make it lok crystal clear.
There is absolutely no way you got an 8 min video out of a 2 second clip 😭 it looks good anyone who hates on it is just some brain dead Snyder fanboy who doesn’t understand the character lmao
I’m not sure if you’ve watched the whole video, but I discussed a bigger concept than just the clip itself. You are right about the Snyder fans. Some of them are quite insufferable about this new Superman movie
Personally, I’m not really all that big on race swapping. Especially in this current era of entertainment, you’re just ASKING for your production to not do well. HOWEVER, I would LOVE a Steel Movie! I would love to watch a new live action Steel movie, that would make more sense to me
I want to know how they did film the scene if theres no CGI, cuz Gunn said that rhe backdrop is real. Did they have a drone do the flight path, film Cornswet separately and then put them together for the effect? i also have to wonder if Gunn is gonna change the scene or not (specifically the eyes) should he?
All tho I do trust James Gunn in terms of story telling he’s not the VFX team he is the director I’m pretty sure he’s on top of them saying fix this or that but I do see the flying scene is funny looking… yes the background is 100% real they physically flew there and shot scenes etc but maybe it’s the weird lenses I l don’t like it but I hate to nitpick as long as the story makes up for it I doubt they are still working on CGI specifically the scenes in the trailer shots because I’ve seen lots of movies were the triller shots are the final product that’s what comes out in the movies so I doubt it will look better on July 11 just my thoughts tho guardians of the galaxy 3 trailer shots were exactly the same in final product.. even the Adam warlock scenes were better

Why always a reboot everytime a new actor comes in to portray superman? Why just move forward with a new story?
