Your current band looks more like Southern's old school and current bands than they do your own old school band. We know you would like the Jukebox to stop being ourselves so you can steal even more of our art to make your own, but our current band directors are old school and tradition conscience, so that won't be happening. You came in once again with a recycled ♻️ Jukebox drill, and we put a brand new drill on your imitation band. Tell your lazy ass band directors to learn to create some original drills, because this Dr. Gregg's era drill book recycling project isn't cutting it. Drop another coin 🪙 N2 that Jukebox, baby!

I was expecting a little more from su and i think jsu did too. They seemed like they had some shit in the tuck for a longer battle but obviously su wasn’t as interested in going hella rounds. And jsu makes it obvious when they think they have the drop on u 😂 them niggas gonna make you hear them callouts they don’t care what’s goin on across the field 😂
IMO DT wins this battle hands down, they had the better fanfares and were definitely more prepared, It is noticeable in this clip that the Golden Stallions are stronger and more full though, and they not even facing the camera like DT. When it comes to playing, the golden stallions ran a clinic through DT this season, them boys were clean, clear, crisp, powerful and together, like they didn’t mess up all season long. Therefore they get the tittle of best tuba line in the swac for me this season. Dawg Team comes in close second followed by Dega’s Krank.
@@YourGoat803 you gotta take into account exactly when they played it each of those 3 times 1st time- to play over Jackson tubas and ‘disrespect’ them 2nd time- because they didn’t hear the whole fanfare the first time 3rd time- because it was the first fanfare they played. Sections always do that. They play a callout at the beginning and end of a battle if they get to have the last word.
SU played it more than once tge reason I think they did is because that shit was loud though no lie they low notes was deep and dark over there but DT is DT the difference was clear soon as SU went upper register lol SU far as deep dark tones DT for Variety
I love a good tuba battle but all these fanfares just sound choppy as hell to me. No funk, no feeling, no melodic structure. Just eigths played at ffff. Maybe its a tuba culture thing, I just expected more from the two powerhouse sections from the SWAC. I guess I'm a fuckin dinosaur eeh.
