I will say dawg teams sound was more consistent, clear and together and a better tone quality, swac hamma tubas had their moments but got sloppy/tired towards the end of phrases as the battle went on they are a nice section in the past 2 years and shouldn’t be slept on , i do have to give the edge to dawg team it doesn’t take many to do plenty
Slight edge to Dawg Team purely because I think SWAC Hamma could've been a bit cleaner on their splits/handoffs (like in that Back in Black fanfare). That and some of the upper voices didn't sound as strong in some phrases. I dig the arrangements tho

Throwing volume out the picture (Valley is twice as big of a section), arrangements were pretty good from both, lows and highs were there for both. DT was overall a tad bit cleaner & executed better than Valley, they get the W.
