- We've just recently realized that we have too many pets living with us now and most of them don't even belong to us 😅 They all have quite interesting stories of how they came to us and why they live with us now so I wanted to share them with you, guys. We have two fancy rats, a cat, a kitten, and two big german dogs 🐱🐶🐁

I had cats and kittens too, becareful she will go out and get pregnant again. I dont know if its done it all countries but having them spayed prolongs the mothers life and health.
And the kitten when it grows up too, they multiply quickly, it's a worthy investment
Yes, spaying prolongs the lives of males & females. No spraying, no crying in heat. So much better for them & you. If you can it’s worth it to do. Don’t your cats go after the rats?
Cats and dogs should always and rabbits be spayed for health happiness and not over breeding ✋✌

As cute as kittens are, it would be a good idea to have the cats spayed/neutered to prevent more unwanted animals. I know you don't technically own them but maybe you could bring it up with the owner. Nice video!

The owner isn't treating the animals well. They are considered ''property'' that goes together with the house...nothing to be said.

hello Victoria, it's a very nice video and we see that you love animals. It's really very kind of you to take care of all these animals and keep the kitten. However, I would like to give you some advice: you should consider (if the owner helps you financially) to sterilize the mother cat, otherwise you risk seeing her appear in the garden or inside the house with other litters because the cats reproduce very quickly. Neutering would also allow this cat to avoid many health problems later on. Finally, also consider sterilizing your kitten later, otherwise you will have plenty of other kittens.
Yes both cats should be spayed/neutered. Cats really reproduce quickly and very young too.
Thank you for caring for them. ❤️Spaying and neutering is so important, it prevents so much suffering. Kittens can get pregnant at 4 months old. Since spaying and neutering is not very cheap in a lot of countries, I am sure many of your subscribers would love to contribute to a fundraiser. Also cats can't eat cow milk, because they are lactose intolerant and it really upsets their stomach, even if it's tasty. I don't think the mama cat necessarily enjoys the outdoor lifestyle, I think it's just the only life she has ever known and it's instinctual for her to want to go out. I see a lot of cats in rescues being either hurt by dogs or killed. I am sure she likes being outside, it's just sad it isn't a safe environment for her to live out her life.

I have a dog (pomeranian). something about pets make our lives so calming. I have never had a rat, but I have had guinea pigs. They are so cute and I love the sounds they make.
Nothing more gentle than a guinea pigs not even rabbits cause they say keep rabbits away from guinea pigs cause they kick and would hurt them
Love all the pets! Have to also chime in to say please have them spayed/neutered. We have a German Shepherd. She’s a wonderful dog and so good around my daughter. 😊

You're very wise to keep the kitten inside. Indoor cats live much longer and bond more closely with their humans. And that is a SUPER cute kitten! Love the smart little rats too, and German shepherds are some of the best dogs as long as you reinforce good habits and behaviors, which you're clearly doing. They obviously love you and your family, too. Your backyard is a little kid's paradise! So private and full of interesting and pretty things to explore and play with.

I used to have two of Caucasian shepherds, (they were double sized that German shepherds in your yard) , they were so gently towards my kids! ! My point is: you and your husband and daughter are happy with animals, it's absolutely amazing that kids growing up with them.

We grew up with a large family.
6 two legged human variety and multiple of 4 legged!
Cats, dogs, birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, turtle
Not counting the chickens, ducks, rabbits & horse. We lived in a small home with average yard.
Once when our cats had kittens all the neighborhood kids gathered around her box to watch the miracle of birth. Even the dog had her nose in there. They were buddies & usually slept together on my mother's bed.
Our pets are part of our family. Well loved & cared for.
BTW I'm an old lady with cats now! 🤣

Rats are wonderful little friends! They’re very much like miniature dogs-smart, affectionate, easy to train. And of *course* dogs and cats are lovely to have around as well! A house is just better when animals are part of the family. (And the house itself looks just lovely! I hope you’re all feeling safe, secure, and happy where you are now, and that you can rest and restart your lives in the best possible way for your family. ❤️)
No such thing as too many pets, as long as you can afford to care for them properly, take good care of them and you manage to keep your home clean. I’d say you’re totally fine, the animals all look well cared for, loved and happy, and you all look very happy and content with each other, so enjoy all the little paws you have in your home ❤️
Hello Victoria, I've recently lost my beloved cat and adopted 2 pet rats, both are 4 months old sisters Bianca and Poppy. They are awesome, very smart but also underestimated pets. God bless, greetings from Australia 🐁🐀❤❤
You're such a lovely person. You completely changed your life to move with a couple of suitcases to another country because of the conflict. I am so happy you were able to get your rats out of Russia and back to you. I have 5 big fat rat boys and they are the best pets I have ever owned. I love my guide dog and my cats so much. But the rats are so special and bring me so much joy.so I love that you also love your rats and that they were a priority to get out of the country to rejoin you. Also, we are getting two new 6 week old boys this weekend. So we will have 7 rats, 3 cats and one dog.
I just wanna comment on how much you have improved on videos. I've been watching since the very beginning, and while I still liked them back then, your content is so much better now! Like the different shots of you opening the fridge and talking, etc is super dynamic and fun!!

If there are too many cats or it's too dangerous for them, could you get the cat & kitten spayed ? It's a big problem worldwide and cat charities operate Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) events. Kittens can breed from 5 months old.
An easy mental workout for dogs is to make them work for their food, either by scattering it around in the grass (perhaps not as you have snakes?) or by using something like a Kong.
Or just out the food in a nice clean bowl with fresh water and play games with the dogs & walk them.
That's a good sign the cat started coming in the house once you moved in that means she's chosen you to take care of her and loves you some times pets choose there owners to
We moved to an isolated town in Alaska a year and a half ago. There is only one vet. We know we will love a year or so from now. I look forward to the day we are more established to have some pets in our family. I know my children will enjoy them ♥️
As a fellow cat owner, I too want to encourage you to have your kitties spayed so that you will not have a herd of kittens in the future. In the USA neutering pets is strongly encouraged, and although it can be costly (we just had our new kitten spayed, and it was $75 at a discount clinic) it's readily available. Is this the case in Georgia? How about in other countries?
Yes! I second this, in Spain is around the same price and while it's encouraged and some people have common sense, they do end up with herds of kitties that end up in cat colonies unfortunately
Unfortunately I don't think she will considering her conservative and religions stances. You can see she likes other comments but avoids the one mentioning this.
It's probably better for cat to constantly have new babies so dogs can kill them.. 🙄 She mentioned mother has scars from dog bites...

@@daenerystargaryen I think that is an unfounded assumption that I find especially odd, since I am also a conservative Christian. I've never heard of any of my fellow Christians taking a stance against spaying or neutering a pet as a result of their beliefs.

The fancy rats are just so affectionate with you. My doctor used to keep fancy rats and named them after English football managers! (Sir Bobby Robson for example!) It is sad that they do not live for a very long time. I think the adult cat has trained YOU to do what she wants (laughs). You have a good relationship with the German Shepherd dogs. They are fierce but gentle at the same time, as long as you know how to handle them.

I love your videos so much and I love the home and life that you have now, i'm so happy for you and your family :) i understand that you probably have a lot on the go with your pregnancy, toddler, life in a foreign country, husband, youtube, and other animals, but please consider getting the kitten (when it's of an appropriate age) and the cat spayed if you can. I am a total cat person and have adopted many cats over the years from rescues, and my mother works with an animal rescue now, so i know that spaying is a great way to ensure a long and healthy life for both the cat and the kitten. You probably already know this, but just wanted to say hello and pass that info on to another fellow animal lover :)
Hey Vika, Tolya, Agatha and Future Baby Sister! What an adorable animal video. I'm not a rat fan, but it was interesting to watch yours. I'm more of a dog and cat person, but appreciate birds, too. So glad you have German Shepherds, they're great with children and protective of their home territory. Also glad you saved the kitten and brought her inside, while cooperating with the mother's own desires to be outside herself. I totally agree that the kitten needs to be an indoor cat for her own safety, given the demonstrations by the area dogs. I don't think you have too many animals. I think they're a comfortable number and it's all working out somehow. Thank goodness for the bus driver. He was a tremendous blessing. Sometimes the Divine sends you exactly who and what you need, be it a human with a bus or animals. Glad to see you all doing well. Bright blessings.

Aww, so nice for Agatha. We have a dog, 2 cats, a tortoise, aquarium and 5 chickens. When we lived in the countryside we also had 2 sheep and a goat. I trained to be a zookeeper and will always have animals around me.

Oh my 😍 the German Shepherds. You can have fun and teach them some new tricks. Also have Agatha hide dog treats in the yard, out of view from the dogs, then let them loose to find them. Scent work is great for them and fun. If you want to get fancier with the tricks, you can teach them to search for you by hiding when they're not looking and then they track you down in the yard. I used to play like that with one of my dogs I had as a kid. The doggie version of hide and seek. It was adorable because my dog would then hide as if to say, "my turn!"
