Very inspiring art and creativity flowing!! I wish you all the best in the world! Hope you stay safe and well!! Thank you for all the soulful work you put into your videos! Greetings from Nenne in Sweden
That was an amazing video! Thank you so much for sharing it with us, who can probably never travel there. I really would have loved to have purchased some of those beautiful crafts. So amazing! I was wondering: did you feel safe there? Also how did you communicate: Does everyone there speak Russian? So glad to see you and your family doing okay. It must be worrisome to be pregnant during this difficult time. I hope you are feeling well.
It's wonderful to see the artistry and people going about their lives in peace, and your happy family. It's in stark contrast to the awful news that weighs heavy on my heart. Life can be quiet beautiful if we love our neighbors and be kind with humility.
Exactly to love your neighbors like Polish love all they brothers and take care of 3 millions of them. Not all stayed, joining their families in the West, but that’s real love.
I love traditional arts and crafts and these are gorgeous. Thank you for showing us that there is still some beauty and positivity in this complex and often cruel world of ours.
The more I see your family vlogs the more I love how relentlessly optimistic Tolya is. It's so heartwarming to see him excited about all the local art and seeing new things even though I know it's always difficult to relocate. I love traveling around (virtually) with you and your family! So much love to you and your family from California, USA!
Spasiva to your husband for all his homework for the interesting infomation, to Agatha for all of her interesting responses ☺️☺️ and to you for the thoughtful way you allow us to particpate in your experiences. Gracias
Hi, Vika, incredible artisans and probably worth every penny. I liked the plates with their mandalas, the bird scissors (I’ve one, too!) and the carpets a piece from heaven. I like the ones with small squares on it. These things need time… just to watch, but of course more to make them. When I travel I use to visit artisans, too. If I like their work, I take a small piece with me to honour their work and to use it of course. Such pieces change a house to a home. I work with wool and colours and could really enjoy all these things, made with sweat, love and talent. Thank you for sharing, love, take care, Monika❣
Stunning market. Exceptional artisans and their wares. So much respect for their intricate crafts. What a treat! You obviously enjoyed it ... thank you for walking us through. Absolutely want to visit.
Hello Victoria, we have the same name! I am Mexican and my country enjoys many handicrafts with an impressive diversity, in different cities and cultures there is originality. As a Mexican I was moved with this video. I have been following you for a while I must tell you that I would love to visit the countries of the Caucasus. I am a literature student and have read about the fantastic tales of this area, it is fascinating. Pd. in Spanish for two people who have the same name, they are called "tocayos", it is like a kind of brotherhood :)
Привет Vika & Hola Victoria, living in Victoria BC Canada, I couldn't resist responding. So good to connect across the cultures, in what unites us: The appreciation of culture & beauty, of kindness & joy, of refined and timeless crafts... This is to our shared humanity!
My husband and I follow your channel for a while, your videos are already part of our weekends routine :-) they are always very interesting, but this one was so special and it spoke to my heart, as you were able to show the passion for the arts & crafts from these people, their craftsmanship is impressive. It was very inspiring, thank you so much for sharing your amazing experience, Uzbekistan is for sure in our bucket list now ♡
Hello Vika, Tolya and Agatha.... so glad that you guys are well and safe. I love the tea sets and the bags you showed at the beginning. Beautiful market. Enjoy 😊
Oh the inkwell and the different colours for the days of the week! This has been a really fascinating vlog. Thank you! I love learning about the history of places. I also think it is wonderful that they are trying to the traditional skills going. I do hope they do :)
Thank you for being a fabulous guide and sharing Uzbekistan's treasures with us. As a weaver and embroiderer, if you see any other interesting pieces, I would love to see them. Many many thanks and the best of wishes to you all
I really like that there are no ad banners, price tags, sale banners etc. just simply the goods and products and thats it. Streets look very clean and neat thanks to that. Here in Europe we are overwhelmed with ads everywhere...
This was a wonderful video and tour of the markets. The craftsmanship of the man with the metal plates was absolutely amazing. It is wonderful to see someone so passionate about their craft and so freely sharing it with others.
So happy to see you guys safe and sound! Hugs from Russian expat family in the Netherlands! The market is so picturesque and authentic! Absolutely love it! 💙
Thank you so much for the tour! Everything was so incredibly beautiful. The sellers were so talented as well. You all seemed to be a little more relaxed which was nice to see. Agatha is growing so fast and will be a wonderful big sister. Please try and rest and I look forward to your next vlog. Thank you again for sharing
Those metal plates are so beautiful I would totally get one if I had that kind of money, totally worth it!! As an artist I understand how long it takes for some things and especially here in America it’s hard to price things because people want everything so cheap.
Yes, I also think that price there was very fair for everything handmade since it's a lot of hard work☺️ I’m sure it would cost much more in Europe or America.
@@VictoriaTerekhina if I ever get to go in that direction I will definitely stop by those places and get things. I’m so glad that your family gets to experience those things even though it’s not for the best of reasons why you’re there.
Just found your channel, and absolutely loved this episode. When traveling i just love to see what the local artists make. I will never go to this country, so I truly appreciated the local work. 😊 Thank You
This place is very cool. All the beautiful bowls and the rugs are beautiful. Thank you for keeping in touch with all your You Tube friends. I Love you guys .
So many amazing things! I've been to nearby countries, where my parents were born and seen similar things. My main feeling right now is I am bursting with happiness that you three are safe! 💕💞🙏 You are so smart, and so brave. I am older, and you fill me with hope and pride in our young people of the world. 😇
The artisan at 15:10 is phenomenal! The artisans are so talented and I really enjoyed learning about their art through your video I really enjoyed it. Agatha is adorable and I'm very happy to see you are well. Praying for your health and safety from Canada 💖
è così bello vedere te e la tua famiglia. Bella opera d'arte che hai trovato. Mi piace anche l'artigianato naturale. Stai in salute e al sicuro!!! Da Roma❤️💜❤️💜
Wow Vika there was so much at Bukhara that we did not need another market. What incredible beauty, skill and detail in the products. Thank you for taking us.
So beautiful plates and everything, and so talented makers ❤ I have heard about Bukhara carpets but never knew about those metal works , thank you for this 😍
So good to see you three. What a wonderful journey through the market. The architecture and the hand-made items for sale are just beautiful. I really enjoyed hearing the plate maker talk about his work and his school, and then give a demonstration. Blessings to you from Virginia, USA.
I loved the metal/enamel plates! When my great aunt passed away I aquired some metal plates from her that look very similar. I don't know where she got them but she was a world traveler. I've always loved the intricate design and they are hanging in my bedroom. It was such a treat for me to see how they were most likely crafted!!
Very interesting! The tea sets are incredibly beautiful. I wondered if they are available here in Europe, too, and I found some on Etsy - but not for 50 Dollars as in Uzbekistan, but for over 120 Dollars plus shipping (Dollar is nearly the same as in Euro). A lot of money! But very unique and beautiful... ♥ I wish you three all the best in these crazy times, stay safe! Looking forward to your next video!

These videos make me so happy, inspired and love humans much more than I usually do 🥰😍 it makes me love people so much that I actually get sad that I wont ever be able to choose one of those beautiful dolls for myself to buy. Its bittersweet but mostly sweet ❤️
Thank you, Victoria. I am glad it’s warmer. I am very impressed with the lovely things for sake. It’s quite amazing! Such beautiful plates! Thank you for showing us the prices. Oh my there are beautiful things at that market. I liked everything. Wow incredible talent. I loved how the shop artisan took time out to show you & talk about his craft. Maybe when you get settled you can one of those beautiful plates. If hang it on the wall. Live this video Vika. Love to you all fr Toronto , 🇨🇦
That was great! Really appreciate all the info provided by the enamel plate guy. So wonderful how he renovated the building, and has the school for the young people. I wish I could go and learn a bit! Everything was so beautiful!

Thank you for showing the market. The metal plates were beautiful, and it was fascinating to watch the artisan work and see his passion for his work. What a blessing that he is passing on his skills to the next generation.
Wow soooo interesting ❣️ I enjoyed the man telling about his craft he really was a passionate man and it was so interesting to hear him I’m glad you get to do some things that keep your mind off of being homesick and gives Agatha a chance to work off some energy walking around well at least dad in his arms😁😂
Thank you for showing us the souvenir market. It was so very interesting. I loved Anwar and his metal work and ?rug/wall covering making. The blue one he is making just now is stunning. He is a true artist. Wonderful that he is taking time to teach children too. Also the knife and scissor maker. I guess the market, and city, are quite busy during the warmer months and holidays. Such interesting architecture.
So interesting to learn about the history behind these beautiful crafts. I just love the idea of the family restoring the building and being able to use it rent free - very clever way to encourage preservation and at the same time keep the buildings alive. Thank you.
Hey Vika, Tolya, Agatha & future baby sister! Glad to see you're all doing well and enjoying your travels. I love turtles and ethnic arts and crafts! Tolya's "homework" yielded a wonderful video filled with valuable information and beautiful designs. Well done, Tolya. And you as well, Vika, deciding which places to cover. My favorite part was watching Amla the craftsman at work in the brass shop and proudly showing you his school, information center and shop, telling you all the backstories. Cutest moment: "Nothing breaks in here, bro!" 🤣🤣🤣 Also, it was nice to hear Agatha's observations: on finger, fire, etc. Her mind is benefiting tremendously from all these new people, places and things: mental stimulation aids brain development and the ability to adapt to changes in life. That will help her in so many ways. It's even helping your unborn baby, who's receiving these benefits through you, Vika. As well as you and Tolya. Looking forward to your next video. Wishing you all the best in everything. Blessed be.
My favorite moment was definitely with turtles 🐢🥰
Been praying for you guys. Good to see you all looking happy and healthy. God bless you and be with you guys.
