I've seen& heard more birds in the past 10 minutes watching you than I see where I live at in southern Illinois in the last 10 years

@Jon C dang. I covered 15 miles in east tn. Didn't hear 1 gobble and spent 3 days 2 nights in the woods. Its been tough id love to know what's truly happening.
I’m in central Alabama same way we had 2 gobblers and 6 hens last year this season we’ve only seen 3 hens and one gobbler

Awesome footage. I saw a scene very similar about 8,9 years ago. I saw over 20 toms (jakes included) doing much the same. I figure I will never see it again. Brought back great memories and reminds me how fortunate I was to witness what I did. Such an amazing time that a person gets to witness. Also, I have had others tell me that a jake won’t strut in a toms presence. Just seen it on your video lol. I saw it that day years ago, but oh well…. Looking forward to season getting here. Thx for the great videos

I haven't seen any strutting or heard any gobbling yet, but I've got a group of toms roosted on the back 40 right now and I'll be up early to listen for em.

Cool video. They were gobbling hard here this morning and watched 4 strutters following around a dozen hens. I see that the bucks in your area are also still holding onto their antlers…. Very few have shed theirs around here so far.

I hunt in Tennessee public and private. The population has went down alot around here. I spent 3 days 2 nights camping covered over 15 miles didnt hear 1 gobble last year. It's been said twra traps them and place them in middle tn in Franklin Co and they sale these governor turkey hunt trips for 2000k. If this is proven ill be the first to be pissed off.

They still hanging on from last fall, that’s normal!
