Oh yeah half the members are fluent in English two of them (the first two) Bang Chan(English name Chris) and Felix being born and raised in Australia. In fact Felix the first guy only started learning Korean 6 years ago and is still learning. Seungmin went to school for a bit in America and Han grew up in Malaysia where he learned a lot of English and has a pretty strong British accent sometimes. Then Hyunjin with the long hair is in college for Practical English and the rest are conversational in English from living with so many English speakers.
Han didn't grow up in Malaysia..he only studied there for 1 or 2 years!

Stray Kids is RAP HEAVY. They have 2 of the best rappers in Kpop.....which were the 2 rappers that came out of the elevator, Changbin and Han. They can all rap though. They do switch the beat up a lot in a lot of their songs. I would recommend after watching once, watch again and read the lyrics, then watch again without stopping to truly enjoy. They make their own beats!! And they all speak english, some better than other. The first 2 are Australian so they speak perfect english lol.
It's always more fun (for me) to see reactors pausing to catch or enjoy different aspects of their music. Venom is another of their songs that has some awesome "ear candy" and Tortoise and the Hare (color coded lyric video - no m/v for this one) is one of their rap songs with fun wordplay/flow switches. Stay kids is amazing for their diverse range everything from anime theme songs to Drill and closing on 200 published songs all I can say is welcome to the rabbit hole hope you enjoy the ride 😄

P.s. if you are curious about the meaning of the MV, it is full of layers as always in lyrics (wordplay) and storytelling (MV). This is SKZ to a tee.
The MV starts with the security guard disrespecting SKZ by doodling all over the photo in the newspaper. Somehow that summons SKZ (using the elevator as common in their previous MVs and folklore). They all arrive together but then the monitor starts glitching 8 members to 1 to 8 to 1, leaving Felix (deep voice dude) Metaphorically, this starts the message (to me) that despite being 8 individuals, they are one entity all the same. "All for one and one for all". And this is where all the members morphing into each other begins throughout the MV.
The elevator doors open and Felix starts rapping French. He then looks in the mirror and his reflection is Chan, not his own(!) and then both of their reflections multiplied in the mirror-to-mirror effect. When the camera moves back to the elevator door, we then only see Chan who raps wearing a hoodie that says "Paris" (ties in with the French) with doodles all over it (ties in with the security guard's doodles).
The elevator door opens on floor 8 (for 8 members) and Changbin gets out strutting down the hall, spitting his Pop pop pop rap verse. The scene reverses back to Han with the elevator door opening also on floor 8 and he heads to open the door at the end of the hall.
From the view inside the room, it is Seungmin who enters with the vocals. Camera zooms in and it is Lee Know walking forwards. Then we see him morph as he walks across the room. This is the first time we actually see a morph in the MV with Lee Know becoming Hyunjin. We then see Hyunjin (with the ponytail) morph into Felix as the camera zoom in and Felix's "MEGAVERSE" blasts the security guard through the window. Similarly Lee Know's later "MEGAVERSE" blasts him through the floor.
Throughout the MV, it seems that it is SKZ music attacking the security guard again and again. Just when it becomes clear to his horror that he cannot find the Exit, he is woken by the new security guard and we realise it was all a nightmare.
The new security guard sits and then looks at the newspaper cover image. Flipping it over, he sees the crossword and the question, Next X?", He smirks and then writes; 'Tablo'. Huge reveal to K-pop fans as Tablo is from an older hip-hop group Epik High. Maybe a next COLLAB? Straykids 'X' Tablo.
I love this MV and the song. I can imagine it hyping an audience up at the next round of concerts. It includes the SKZ tagline in the back ground in the songs last refrains “Stray Kids everywhere all around the world” till we hit the last “Welcome to the Stray Kids hot Megaverse.” Can’t wait till the next world tour. I only became a fan (fandom name Stay) during their Maniac album era last year.

6:35 that's Han and he's a fucking genius 🥰 He's an all-rounder because he's good at singing, rapping, dancing, and he's 1/3 of the production sub-unit who writes all of the skz's music (the other two are Bangchan (the 2nd guy who raps in English) and Changbin (the guy who raps before Han))

5:15 yeaahhh I don't perceive Stray Kids as K-pop, although they relate to this because they are Korean. I have never liked K-pop, but in April of this year I heard the Stray Kids song and fell in love with them. All kpop groups sound the same to me so I've never liked it, but Stray Kids are unique. and when I found out that they create their own music and all the members were independently selected by the group leader Bangchan, I was even more amazed. Therefore, in the K-pop industry, it is not customary for a participant to choose members for his group, this is done by the company, and also few people create their own music, and no one creates as many as Stray Kids, or rather ALL THEIR DISCGRAPHY, NOBODY. they are on their own

Stray Kids is HANDS DOWN the only group i have ever listened to where i like ALL of their music. Ive never even really liked music that much. I listen and appreciate music when it is needed, in the car or when cleaning, and i know quite a bit of songs from all sorts of different genres, but i love stray kids so much i listen to their songs all the time, everyday. They're the best in my opinion.

Bangchan is the guy who did the ‘first second third fourth wall’ bars. He composes and produces almost all their music. He used to give us sneak peeks on lives, and create songs from scratch on them.
They have some crazy beats - but lately, I’ve been awestruck by Stop! From their album cle:levanter. There’s no music video, but there are fan made lyric videos.
And Tablo is the guy who wrote it from a Korean hip-hop trio (teasing at a future collab?)

Skz is self produced, but the beats specifically is Bang chan's job, it's usually 3racha (Bang Chan, Changbin and Han) who makes their song but all the members participate now and then, specially Hyunjin who's lately more into lyrics.
