I am glad you get to share you passion for Stray Kids. It is always wonderful to watch someone get introduced to, and fall in love with them.
Just a short summary to explain Thunderous. There is much more detail, but this will do:
The Korean title for Thunderous is Sorikkun, which basically translates to 'noise-makers'. Sorikkun are traditional singers, kind of like the old minstrels.
The blue lights represent dokkaebi, which are Korean Goblins. They are powerful and mischievous and can be generous and reward people, or punish them. (Still my all time favourite Korean drama, Goblin, or Guardian, the great and lonely god) Stray Kids are the dokkaebi and have come as sorikkun to perform and save the people from the jansorikkun (naggers, the opposite of the sorikkun)
The whole MV is full of references to Korean traditions, and they have a lot of traditional Korean instruments woven in to the soundtrack

I am really surprised you haven't shown your wife Stray Kids in your own time! I appreciate you doing the Lord's work by spreading the music of Stray Kids. (I'm not religious). I really hope she gets into them as much as you love them! They are so diverse, chaotic, and in your words " poetic geniuses " Glad to have you back man! I missed your videos because I came across yours in the beginning of my journey around 2020/2021
She has heard some songs but in the car rides. She doesn't know it was stray kids so she prolly here and there is gonna be like wait... I feel like I heard this before hahaha
It is a recurring theme in their music: their response to the MANY negative criticisms their music received - usually in response to their experimentation with so many different genres and sounds. "Noise music" was a very common critique; and in Stray Kids style they address negative comments and emphatically use them to celebrate that they are going to continue to do what they want to do, their music speaks for them. God's Menu, Thunderous, and Cheese (the one you may have been referencing) all speak to things "haters" have said, but don't respond with any negative comments on their own. Their album "No Easy" is a prime example. If you haven't already, check out that cover art.

So from my understanding Lee know was a back up dancer for bts between 2016-2017. And went on tour with them for the wings tour. Which would have been epic to see him dance on that tour with bts. Wings is my favorite bts album.

I love all but my Bias is Bang Chan the Leader and Felix because they are Aussie like me,
I wish when people introduce Stray Kids to newer people who are unfamiliar with their music, they didn't just show them their hype songs because they're so versatile. I think people would be more impressed/shocked with Han and Changbin's vocals after hearing them go off in God's Menu and Thunderous. It would've been great to hear God's Menu, Thunderous, and then completely switch it to something like "Never Ending Story" because Changbin and Han's vocals go off and THAT's what surprises most people.

If you also remember that they wrote this song (God's Menu) in a hotel room when there was nothing to do, then this becomes brilliant and at the same time proof that they are better than the members themselves. no one can convey the uniqueness and taste of the Stray Kids group itself.

Thanks fam ! The reason why I held out so long is because I want her to get to know a group not just doing a fly by. I want her yo know them learn the personalities see how hard they work, how funny they are etc. I have been holding out on checking things out too. I was hoping i would be able to share the experience finally with her. She has heard some music here and there for sure in car rides . She just prolly didn't know it was stray kids or seen hahahaha she also saw 3racha at global citizen show when they were there so I'm kinda jealous lol she was like yo they were really good I want to check them out fore sure hahaha
