Darren Chu Hi Darren! No, I have absolutely 0 issues on my piece and even through the forums, I haven't heard of that issue before. This hammer is polystone with a distinct paint application to get the weathered/mirrored effect. With that said, to get the paint app to begin to flake/chip/scratch naturally, the piece must've sat in extreme heat or very wet conditions for a prolonged period. Did you buy this item in a sealed/new condition? The original "EFX" packaging tape was used to seal the box. If it was used, it could've been from the previous owner. If new, it may have been stored in very poor conditions. Regardless, I highly recommend a return or exchange unless you got it for a price you feel merits it's current condition. Good luck, and keep me updated!

It sounds a little arrogant, distant and cold how he's presenting this Mjölnir replica...and sure you have to be careful not to scratch it, but with that knife ... no way anithing would have happened. To Mjölnir itself, the zink like polyalloy look ruins the optic. Most of the time the hammer looks slightly smoked or even like brushed metal (kind of a in use look). But I have to admit the handle is well crafted. To the crafting, the head should look slightly like pieced together. It adds the Uru technological flair (notches at the bottom and side of the hammer head). Ah but the handle...screws on the bottom....really bad. Saw many with a way more authentic end cap...
