I put a roller sprocket on a stihl 041AV, and it would cut at 10800RPM in dried out maple. I was impressed with the old tractor. Have you tuned the saw in the cut because it sounds fat to me.
Yeah, I can tell you that these definitely run better with a sprocket tip. Based on how mine runs, it should be able to pull up to a 32 inch bar without too much trouble. I'll probably top mine off with a 28" light bar. It definitely needs to get broken in with several tanks, and then properly leaned out with at least a 40:1 mix.
I have a brand ive worked on, my brand. Some people recently are trying to say my saws are no better than that the saw youre showing. Folks have used my saws professionally now over 2 years and going strong. I have recent professional reviews on my channel of my brand. Im trying bring the best "clown" saws i can to the USA. Mine are different than the amazon $100 or $200. Recent reviews posted on my channel. Thanks for showing your amazon saw and please continue to report any problems.
I like it lol I have same saw and I did a tad fiddling with widening exhaust and intake very little..lower transfer skirts base delete and other than me being ignorant tuning by ear it runs good The bar it came with don't work well with thinner chain it wore grooves on nose after little use
It seems to have pretty good power. It would out do most homeowner grade saws especially with a sprocket tip! Thanks!
I'll keep messing with it! Thanks!
