Its gonna run fine. Order an unlimited ignition coil and a momentary switch from husqvarna. That will be the only thing you must have......see if your carb gives you full power.
I bought a farmsak from Amazon $270 delivered with bar,,, i just ported & polished exhuast, 268 piston and muff mod and its strongest saw ive ran other then my dolmar 7900
Those clone saws are good…. they’re perfect if you want to tinker and mess with them and it doesn’t cost a whole bunch of money if you wanna make a Frankensaw. I have a farmer tech 395 and I’ve had to replace quite a few parts on it, but generally the saw runs fine. I like how they misspell Husqvarna though that made me laugh… cool video.
I agree! Perfect to mess around with! I always wanted an erector set as a kid! I think I paid less for this saw! This is really the draw for me, tons of fun on the cheap! If I break my toy I can just buy another!😁 thanks for watching!!!🤙🏻
Yeah pretty cool under 200, sounds good, post an update down the road on the feel and cutting performance. I did pretty much the same thing went with the g660 pro, and a clone husky 395 both are new in the box have yet to open the boxes to check them out. have fun
Might be fun and exciting if you ever need a carb kit for it ??? I run 32:1 in everything I own and I use Lawn Boy 2 stroke oil , my local Mom and Pop lawnmower shop that is a Stihl dealer sells the oil and snd they use it in there repairs .
@@sawsonthefarm Remind yourself that this is a Chinese machine that is made from parts less well finished than the big brands! Run on 25:1 at least for the first four or five tanks then go to 40:1 or you might have an overheat episode that will prompt a cylinder replacement, possibly to a 52mm big bore kit.
Those 52cc Chinese things? I got one cheap with burned up bar and chain then got given a busted one. I fixed them both up for under $40 in parts so $60 for 2 running saws. Done lots of work with them - they run pretty well took about 20 hours to run in and show surprising power now. I guess they take longer for the parts to bed in being cheap and less finessed. Wouldn't have gone and bought one new though, just these two happened to come my way a couple years back.
I've had a Stihl MS-270 for a long time and used it a lot. The other day, I got a new bar and chain for it, that was 80 bucks. New air filter $18. New Muffler $40. New Carb, $90. Them expensive chainsaws are also very expensive to repair and maintain. I have a Supmix and Pinkway chainsaw. Last year I sawed up 3-4 cords of Oak with that Supmix 20 inch with the greatest of ease. Never gave me a hint of trouble.
@@oldcodger4371 there is definitely a market for these types of saws. Expecting the type of reliability of a name brand saw would only cause disappointment. But we get these because they are cheap. We still can have good luck and tons of fun with them! Thanks for watching!
@@sawsonthefarm The repairs and maintenance is almost identical as a chainsaw is very simple. It ain't rocket science. if three $100 chinese chainsaws last as long as a $650 stihl, you would come out ahead with the Chinese ones.
@@oldcodger4371 I would say if someone is not capable of repairing these saws themselves they should probably stick with a name brand with dealer support! These will definitely require attention to keep goin!
No no I got the Hnsvarqua! lol! Yup I had to try it! That's too bad you can't get yours goin. I have that 440 clone that I've used a ton. I've had some issues too!
It was pre-tuned to 50/1. Running 40/1 will run lean out and lose power in the cut. Or worse. Must use top grade fully synthetic oil. Running without airfilter messes up carb settings to. Believe it or not the factory tunes and tests on these parameters.
Actually you have the mixture theory backwards 50 parts of fuel to 1 part of oil is a leaner mixture than 40 parts of fuel to 1 part oil. I use the 40:1 for more oil protection and yes I always use a name brand synthetic oil. As for running without an air filter I strictly do this on the bench. Once the saw is complete and I'm ready to start cutting is when I tune the saw. I tune a saw every time I use it for the wood I'm in as well as the air temp and density. These carbureted small engines require constant tuning to keep them at peak performance without damage. Thanks for the comment and your thoughts, this is why we do this stuff to learn and share! 👍🏻
@@sawsonthefarm No. That is not correct. If you don't believe me ask your local Husky dealer. Yes you are running a thicker mix but everything on that saw from factory was tuned to 1/50. Running 1/40 means you have to retune it. Or it will pull more air to compensate and then run lean and you will lose power at best. A tip don't run Stihl ultra unless you going to run it hot all day. Otherwise it will carbon up fast. Oh and at 40/1 It will run hotter so more stress and wear results over time. But at only 200$ no Biggie looks a bargain.
@ I hear your theory and no disrespect. I've always run every saw I own old and new all makes and models like this. I have never had an issue. I do appreciate your take on this, respectfully I'm goin to stick with what works for me. I did hear that about the Stihl oil, that it creates a ton of carbon if there is a lot of idling. I've heard that the Echo red armor is really good! Thanks for your comments!

I went to pop spark plug wire off plug and ripped the boot in half it was so cheap rubber, so bought a husky ignition & carb
For 200$ I don’t think you can go wrong. What size bar do you plan on running on it?
Cute little gas and oil can they send in the box.
It came with a24" bar. So far I gotta say I'm a little impressed! lol! Yeah how bout that can! lol!
That little can isn't useless. Clip it on your belt. Filled. It can save you a long walk...
Good point! It's just so thin, I'd worry about a puncture! Those little fuel cans for enduro riding would be perfect to carry like that!
Have bought several of those..they run for a while.break down .get fixed break down again..then get thrown in the building.
lol! Nice! I can't wait to run it hard.

I don't think it will be bad, it's a strait up knock off of a walbro!
32:1 is not a good idea your saw will get to hot I promise you but figure it out for yourself if you don't think it's a problem
40:1 with a modern 2-cycle synthetic is fine.
Agreed! I run 40:1 in all my saws new and old, never have an issue! 👍🏻

Hopefully not lol! Already ran a tank full of 40:1, if she blows she blows!
You should try a temu chain saw

im rebuilding mine a painr bt well worth it , redo everything in the topend
There you go!
It seems that China is starting to raise it's game.
We gotta see how it cuts next!
If a new Chainsaw is Cheap you pay for what you get and it's Called Trouble

Seems the 372 is one of the most copied saws lol
That and the 660. I had to buy one just to see!
i have the 365 this same brand have 2 of the 372 same as this good saws need some wrenching but decent for the price i put a mini pipe my 365 it rips
