Great video. IN HS we had a mandatory class called Art History. I was the stoner who sat in the back row. All the Jocks and brainy kids were in it. (Small HS) I loved it so much I asked for extra credit. When the teacher read my name in whose top score the grade curve was made of the entire class turned around Jaws open with comments like "you got it?" None of them passed. I just shrugged it off. In hindsight it was the first sign I had a photographic memory. My favorite Artist then and now is Monet.
This is fun! When we visited the Seurat in 2019, an older man decided to explain pointillism to me like I had no idea what I was looking at. Not sure what the deal with that was. LOL
Fun video, hope you had a great time! I had always imagined American Gothic was much larger. My ceramics teacher was obsessed with Henry Moore - we would have spent the entire trip in that room! Which was your favourite piece from this video and which was your favourite piece overall? Did you visit the famous Bean sculpture? I want to see it and take a selfie flipping it off because I do not forgive Anish Kapoor over Vantablack.
I love Nighthawks so much it's stupid. I could stare at it all day. Chagall windows are pretty too. I always visit the blessed Bean, but had no idea the artist behind it was such a jerk. How do you get the rights to...a color?

What a neat memory! I wish I could've taken an art history class, that would've been so fun
