Watching this at 3am was a bad idea. The food looked amazing. I love a good sammie for lunch and a Reuben always hits the spot but that mac and cheese.... dang!! I may need to make some for dinner tonight.

A favorite place of ours J & B. We frequent here often. We'll have dinner and then jump into the bar. We have even gone for Thanksgiving buffet prior to Covid. So glad you tried it and enjoyed 😀

Just found your channel a few months ago, been watching as many videos as I can. I really enjoy how you present your videos, love the classic rock t shirts. I know you stay at different hotels during your travels. I have family that live in the town of Romney, WV and they have the Koolwink Motel. It has remained the same for many years, might not be modern and fancy but it is clean, peaceful, quiet, and reasonably priced . You can catch the Potomac Eagle excursion train a few miles away. Safe travels to you both.

Just love the historical beauty of Gettysburg, PA. LOVE REUBEN SANDWICH Bobbie. John a wonderful crab Mac-n- cheese thick and alot of crab. The Boston Creme Cake bomb my favorite. The hotel was beautiful built in 1797.

Nice video, again you really let the viewers get a feel for the place. Gettysburg is only 45 minutes from us. Certainly looks like a place to try. The crab mac and cheese looked delicious and the reuben was well done. I would go for either one.

oh the food looks amazing (7 days till the 160th) being a MASSh..... i approve of the Boston cream cake bomb LOL Great staff to put up with us reenactors , had a alot of fun there last sept with the bartender. haven't really eaten there (YET) as it's not cheap and we joking would say Pinky out when drinking there lol

I like the inside of this place. I like sauerkraut, which I like to fix with Polish Kabalsa. I like crab,so I would probably like that dish. Isn't it strange that I love crab, but do not like lobster. Everything looks so good. I thought you would get brown butter cake.

Thanks for this great video - it looked so nice outside! Bechamel is a flour/milk/butter mix. It is used in a lot of Mac&Cheese recipes. More for the fancy types who try to impress. I don't really care for the taste - it is a bit sour to me. I just prefer a ton of cheese and then milk and butter. LOL I do love it with or without bread crumbs/crouton toppings - when they bake it (my fave), the bread crumbs brown on top to make it like a casserole. I admit my fave Reubens are the ones with Russian dressing, but Thousand Island is very similar and great too! You picked a fabulous looking dessert! Love Boston Cream and the bomb with hard bonnet chocolate - perfect!!! I would gobble it up, and having it frozen cold like that is "the bomb"!
I don't think I have ever tried a reuben sandwich with russian dressing. Next time I make one at home, I am going to try it that way. Thanks for watching and commenting. 😎🙏
@@jbinthehills In NY/Miami/Chicago delis and any "Jewish" deli you are more likely to see it - otherwise, it is rare. I didn't know any other way as a kid - it wasn't until recent years have I had it with thousand island. Either way is good though!

Very nice place. I love the Gettysburg address on the wall. I really like ruben's, so i definitely would have ordered the reuben. Usually when i get a ruben i ask for a side of thousand island dressing so i can also dip my sandwich into it. That dessert is the one I would have chosen. Looks like a really nice experience. 👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸🌹

As I mentioned before you have to go to Washington's Crossing and New Hope Pennsylvania. You will be so shocked of how historical it is. New Hope is a town that was built in the 1700s i believe 1715, it reminds you of a quaint town out of England. It has great shops and tons of restaurants, antique shops and all kinds of boutiques. Large Stone mansions and unique architecture. It's a very Historical area and a great Food town. In the area you also have Peddler's Village and across the Delaware River right there is Lambertville New Jersey also very historical with nice restaurants and shops. This area is in beautiful Bucks County and in a country setting. There are hotels and motels. This is a must-see area, and a perfect place to go for 2 or 3 days. In my opinion I think you would be far more impressed with New Hope and its surrounding area than Gettysburg.
