Another amazing video I'm trying to get my cousin from Alabama to come to Gettysburg Pennsylvania before she dies she's amazing she's 90 years old or let's put it this way she's 90 years young. She gets around better than me I'm 65 from prospect Virginia and she lives in Alabama she's extremely active and hell she even tosses baseball to her nine-year-old great-great-grandson and I been trying to convince her to come to Gettysburg Pennsylvania it's definitely on her bucket list and I hope and pray she'll make it if her lazy son will drive her but she can still drive good at 90 years old but that's a long way for a 90 year old to drive from Alabama to Gettysburg and cost too much to fly so I'm hoping that this and the other video when you drove ALL OVER Gettysburg will convince her to go to the 160th anniversary. If anyone doesn't enjoy your videos and the fine work you have put in to both of these then they got severe mental problems because anybody that would hate this is a nut keep up the great work thanks again another successful video I'm going to send this to all my friends there's other videos that other people make this really enjoyable to but your approach really gets people sold on coming to visit PS I've only got two thumbs but if I had 10 thumbs then I give it 10 thumbs up! 😆
You are amazing and so is your cousin. Thanks for commenting and sharing you made my morning. If you get there let me know. I love close and would love to see you there. 👍👍
I am a native Lancasterian and as a kid we took many day trips to Gettysburg and still love it. In fact my only child Graduated from Gettysburg College in 2000, she loved her time there as well. Yes, the food is great in PENNSYLVANIA!!!
In 2008, a good friend and I came up and participated in the 145th reenactment. On the first night, we ate at the Farnsworth House and on the last night, we ate at the Dobbin House. On the second day after doing a march through Gettysburg, our regiment ate at O'Rorke's Tavern. You're right, You need at least a week to see Gettysburg.
This historical place is on my bucket list. I'm retired military/ love Civil War history. I've been trying to get over there for the battle reenactment and something always gets in the way. One thing in particular is money. 😉🤣4:35 That burger looks delicious by the way.
Thanks so much and thank you for your service. Money gets in the way of everything.. lol. Yes you have to try if your into civil war history. Hope to see you there soon. 👍👍👍
Absolutely love this video man! It's awesome to see some of the damage leftover on the building and just around Gettysburg. Can't wait to go back in a month and just enjoy Gettysburg!
Thank you for this video Sr, this place is so beautiful, I'm from the Dominican Republic And I'm going to go there next month with my friends to work, I hope that we can have the best experience ever 🙏😊
I Was there 6 years ago we only went to Gettysburg national military park saw a lot of cool interesting artifacts in the museum but didn't get a chance to tour all of Gettysburg since we drove from Washington DC and had to get back. I definitely want to go back and tour all the museums and hot spots and explore the battle fields.
Used to go twice a year. Haven't been there in about 4 years. Need to go back. My Favorite Eateries are The Dobbin House, Battlefield Fries and Tommy's Pizza.
You can almost feel the energy of those who died there. The whole town is actually one big cemetery. It was one big Battlefield. I've stayed at 3 so called haunted inns so far in Gettysburg. There are so many on my list that I still need to check out.
Lol. We have bucket list. Mine is Maldives and Bora Bora. And yes everyone should go to Gettysburg atleast once. Hope you get there. Thanks for watching and subscribing. 😁😁♥️♥️👍👍
You are absolutely Crazy. I live close there too and been there 50 times and discover something new each time I go. You got to explore downtown is beautiful the park is incredible and events all year long. Not too mention museums and tours everywhere. Go hike or bike a little get out of your house. Gettysburg is American history at its finest.

Oh yes you must get back. 👍👍
Ate at Dobbin House. There was a family eating next to us and the wife was feeling uneasy. She told her husband she felt a presence there.
That's crazy. 👍👍

Have you ever stopped in at Dirty Billy's Hats? I'm curious to see it and where it is on Baltimore Street. I will be visiting this December 2023.
No I haven't. I'll put that on my list next visit. Thanks for the tip. 👍
There was The Gettysburg Samuel Colt Vintage Museum of Fine Firearms at 241 Steinwehr Avenue. Is that still there?
I think so. There are many firearm places in Gettysburg.
You completely missed the town's new statue of Thaddeus Stevens in front of the courthouse on Baltimore Street. What an incredible disappointment.
Next time.... can't catch everything in a 15 minute video. But will be back
As someone who has lived near Gettysburg since 1980 I would say there is almost nothing to do there.
