If Google wants me to stop using ad blockers they should clean up their scam ads first.
I'm preparing to migrate to Vivaldi, which is Chromium-based and has a built-in ad blocker.
That's the problem with this deprication of V2 extensions is that for most extensions there is no alternative in the store. I'll give you an example. I use an extension that lets me upload my own wallpeper to facebook. It is the only extension currently in existence that lets users do so and there is no v3 version of it nor is there any v3 alternative to it. Google should have waited until there were v3 alternatives available for most of the extensions before pushing this deprication of v2 extensions.
Google won't wait, because they're at war with ad-blockers, especially on their precious RUclips.
Firefox has been amazing me even on my Android devices with its extensions.
I must say Brave is not the only option.
firefox is spyware too btw

I had been prepared for this as well, this is why I use Firefox 😁

I have been preparing for this day with Firefox.
Your move Google.
We prefer edge over the chrome since we saw some improvement in terms of performance and some fetures . Forceing the browser to open in a pvt mode is important along with some AI suggestions opinions and insights
Good job I moved from chrome to a better chromium browser that has all the features I need without the fear of them being removed, like the download bar. And manifest v2 will continue to be supported in the future.
what is that browser ?

v3 sucks. i cannot even remove edg/ for my edge in the agent string. I guess google would do more on discrimination against our edge users.
