In this video coach Jason covers examples of how and what movements you can do to help warm up and strength your arm. Great for all ages just be careful of the weight and load you are putting on the shoulder. Definitely don't want to over do it. The more you know the better pitcher you will be. What do you think about putting a band to force them to hold the knee in place helping with hip/knee stability?

Will this help your velocity some?

Some pitchers don't firm up their front leg completely, but do stabilize it and don't allow the knee to move past the ankle.

Correct, however as I see it most high level pitchers have enough mobility and strength to accomplish this feat. Thanks for taking the time for me John. My best to you guys always :)

How many sets and reps for each drill? For my 9 year old. Awesome info and drills

1 set of 6 to 8 should be enough. Scale up or down depending on season. Make it about mechanical reinforcement rather than strength of rep. Thanks for all the support 🙏.

Is this program part of the driveline or NPA programs?

We are not affiliated with NPA or driveline, however they may do some of the same movement patterns. Also remember each athlete is different and will build up and recover differently. Everyone is different and can handle different workloads. Hope all is going well, thanks.
