Yes they do and I wouldn’t recommend it if your going for a drag car, the price per horse power gain is not there for drag purposes but for fun or auto cross or canyon carving I would say simple mods and don’t go all out. Don’t get me wrong my Cruze is fun and badass just a lot of money for a almost 150horse gain
Does anyone know how much this upgaded turbo affect gas milage, and if it's overall more reliable than going with an OEM replacement? My turbo just went out and am looking at all my options. More power would be appealing, but I'm trying to make the smartest choice. I like fuel efficiency, but power is fun too. What do you guys think?
Not at all. Our parts fit the sedan as well as the hatchback Sonic. We do not make engine modifications for the 1.8 engine, but all of our brakes and suspension will fit, and we also have a catback exhaust for it.
Forged internals are not required to run this turbo, but if you want to unlock it's full potential, we do recommend including it with our cams and valve springs.
@@ΧρηστοςΑθανασοπουλος-υ7λ Our wallpaper Sonic has made around the 300whp mark for quite a few years with no real issues. We can't guarantee you'll have the same luck, but having a great 1.4 certainly helps with the longevity of your cars life.
@@ZZPerformanceChannelin another video u said the valve springs make the performance bad? Or is that for the z3 turbo? So its good to do the valve springs
Well, we tried back in the day. Unfortunately, the 1.8 guys didn’t buy parts. We had a header and downpipe combo out that we had to discontinue because people weren’t buying it, we offered to make a turbo kit if people went in on it, and When it came time to get involved, they were crickets. So it’s not for the lack of us trying, but the community didn’t want to buy things where the 1.4 guys did.
Yess for our trax/Encore owners!!!
We are working on Encore/Trax parts, most of the Sonic parts fit it, but we are working on specific fitment parts for you.
I been waiting for this video to be released!!!!!
Part 2 coming next week 👍
Goooood stufffff! Makes me wanna buy a cruze!
You guys have aftermarket valve covers for the 1.4?

@@hagensperry119 I just have some friends with cruzes that would benefit from a not plastic one but idk if that exists
@@InTheCoupeWithCoop It does exist for the 1.4! We have them on our website.

Turbos dont really effect it much at all, however your foot will after you get the extra power. ;)
Don’t mix up those waste gate lines 👀😂👌🏻
Timing cover is leaking like a mug on this car 😂
Does it matters if my Sonic is an LT sedan 4 doors If i want to buy parts from ZZP?

Do i need forge internals to use this turbo?

Okay thanks you, so if I make 250 horsepower the engine is not going to be blow up

The 1.8 gettin no attention

It’s very sad but understandable
