- Finally got my custom 12.2's! 27-week wait was worth it!
TL;RL:
Pads:34+2, FRS, Single outer break, double internal, no bootstrap, leather strap through knee block
Glove: 90 degree break, Game ready +, suregrip internals
Blocker: Medium palm, sure grip, curved index finger protection
Not gonna lie, for a 1st video absolutely amazing video quality, production and natural on camera buddy. I may actually have some competition in the community ;) subbed and looking forward to the next one

Great info. Love to see more from you. My only comment would be to tell us your measurements. You said you went w a 34 pad but knowing your leg measurements will help me better ballpark the size pad for me.

hey im gonna buy the l12.2 tho im not shure for the size, i currently have 34+1 in the 4.9 ccm but i dont know if i should go lower. any thoughts?
Hey man nice review. I was wondering what you thought of the weight. I'm looking to get a new set soon and I'm coming out of Bauer so maybe everything feels heavy compared to a pad like that. I demo'd new Gnetiks and they are heavier when you hold them but when they are on you don't really notice any weight. Also, how is the weight distribution on those pads?

I wear my stuff quite loose and I don't take advantage of the FRS system. So it's dependent on how you wear the pad/ toe lacing options too ( Lots of slack, bunge cord, no slack)

Honestly, I am not sold on the True brand. Seems like they have done a huge marketing ploy with sponsoring a ton of goalies in the NHL.
I don't mind the overall look but in-depth it seems cheap.
