Just a friendly fyi, allergic reaction to gel (contact dermatitis) and a fungal nail infection are two completely separate things. I hear you mentioning allergic reaction but showed a picture of the definition of fungal infection ---around 8:10 to 8:34 Contact dermatitis is when uncured gel products are left your skin and can cause an lifelong allergic reaction to that product. This happens due to the products and chemicals you are using. There is no cure for this and you are stuck with it forever. You'll just have to find alternative products that claim to be allergy free. On the other hand, Fungal infection is unrelated to chemicals or products but may be caused by unsanitary practices/conditions. In this case, it may happen when the gelx is not sealed completely or have air pockets, allowing moisture and debris to enter overtime, resulting in a higher risk of an infection. A fungal infection can be treated with proper medications (some can be found over-the-counter) and will go away. You are not stuck with it for life like contact dermatitis. Hope anyone reading this finds this helpful :)
Do you feel certain brands of full cover tips are more prone to popping off? I am naturally rough on my nails and cannot tell if my gel x nails pop off (usually after around a week and a half) because I’m too rough on them or because of poor application! I have seen people rave about the apres extensions and am wondering if the quality affects the wear as well. I hope to go to nail school one day but it’s not in the cards for right now but I still want to do them at home! What are your thoughts - do different nail full cover tips last different? I use cheap ones from Amazon I think they are unigella
Nope can't pick one like them all but I do like the gold jems with the green eye shadow I want to try this with the eye shadow I haven't did anything with my nails as of yet I bought a bunch of stuff from Amazon Thanks again..
I happened upon your channel today and watched your content. Just wanted to give you some kudos on some cute nail designs and to let you know it’s pronounced model ones, like two separate words 😊
I had my first set done and to look under my nails and seeing the gel they used to bond was so unflattering…..it looks like a glob of rubbery glue…..does this make sense…..was it a bad job, or is this what you will always see? If so, I’ll pass……it looks like they just left extra rubbery glue on the underside of the nail; which also hits the natural nail and skin…..I should have taken photos…..any words of wisdom are greatly appreciated.
I'm not a professional but I do my own nails at home and you are only supposed to fill the gel glue to the tip of your natural nail, so it is likely that they overfilled and instead of going out the sides, it was just pushed out the top and onto the top of your actual finger

love the video!! what’s the longest the peel off base gel lasted for?
With the right prep and application, it can last up to 3 weeks. i usually take mine off within 2 weeks.
New subscriber! Thank you for this video. I learned A LOT! I have never heard of the overlay method and am looking forward to trying it out
Heyyyy! Beautiful designs! Do you have any tips on getting clients?
Hi🥰 what is that cuticle tool you used to clean the cuticle from any gel or base build up?
wood cotton swap clean sticks Is what they're called I guess lol
For the overlay method is it just applying base coat prior to painting the nail?

Can I use uv gel or base coat to stick the nails?
I can see the curve of the extension on your nail even after you've finished. Great design tho
The peel of base have to be cured right? Thank you in advance :)
yes!
Where is ur big lamp from?
How long do the nails last with the peel off base coat
FYI: Model one’s is how you pronounce it ok. Just thought I would mention it.
does it matter which nail polish you use because of the lamp??
no, just make sure it’s gel!
My gel x breaks easy when hit somthing I think they are too thin or does it matter
i think it might be the quality of the extensions ur using!
What is the peel base you use?
it’s the jello jello peal off base coat :)
Where do you purchase jello jello from?
i wanted to do this but now im scared about the allergy thing
Same

It was solid nail glue and they used too much.
