my nail beds are wider than most kits and you are the first i’ve seen file them to shape while still on the nail to customize and it makes so much more sense to do if that way! these came out so cute and i’m glad you showed us application without an e file i rlly wanna do gel x nails but don’t have all the equipment yet
Yes! It is so much easier for me that way. My middle and thumb are wide and I like to be able to see exactly how much room to go in. I say start off slow with the equipment! I love gel x but I actually started off with poly gel and didn't like it. So now I have a bunch of poly gel that went to waste. 😂

Instead of using the wax stick to move the rhinestones around, I highly suggest you get "needle tweezers". They are LIFE CHANGING. Use the wax stick to pick up the rhinestones, then use the needle tweezer to move them around. It's a lot less messy, and you have more control.
They turned out beautiful. I can't wear nails that long, but I will be doing something very similar on a short almond nail tip. I love them. Great job!

Im addicted to Vettsy Solid Nail Glue. Im 67 years old, and I started using it when covid started. It cures rubbery, which for me holds my nails strongly. Thank you for your videos!

Hi hun, I top coat my colorful rhinestones too but really all of my cheap ones. It actually makes them look better and helps stay on. The rhinestone glue don’t do it every time. But the topcoat can mess up the quality of my Swarovski ones. It helps the cheap ones tho and turns out really pretty! .

Yes exactly! It also ensures that the nail tip is flush with your natural nail so no water (from showering, washing hands etc) gets trapped underneath the extension and starts to mold.

I have had to do this for years. Just make sure you do a little from each side or it can look lopsided.
