Yadi is 5 years older than Posey and 8 years older than Perez. Basically they are both in their prime while Molina is sadly past it. Considering Yadi is still amazing defensively and hit .307 in 2016 is very impressive. Neither of these two are on Yadi's level defensively when he was in his prime. Yadi will go down as one of the best ever in defense, game management, and for having all the intangibles you just can't teach. Buster is the better hitter, there is no questioning it. It's just a comparison that doesn't hold the same value as it did a couple years back. That being said, it was one of the best comparisons in the game for years. Too bad they weren't a more similar age.

By dWAR, Molina had one of his personal worst defensive seasons, and seeing as he's on the wrong side of 30, that's not likely to come back up. For most reasonable fans, the list would be: 1. Posey 2. Molina 3. Perez To explain my list a bit, it is only from a defensive standpoint. This also happens to be the order they placed in dWAR, so there is actually some credibility to this.
