- Today's the day we set up our booth. We thought we had everything planned out perfectly but there was one (big) snag.
We're Kelly and Melissa, vintage treasure hunters, collectors, and resellers who find new homes for delightful finds. We go to yard and estate sales, thrift stores, flea markets and anywhere we can find earthly delights.

I like your flea market set up from what I've seen cooler stuff better than booth still ok
My first reaction was “Ouch!” But I wonder if it speaks to a particular preference. The booth and the flea market are different experiences. The flea market is a little grittier, while the booth is a little more elevated. But who knows, we may turn it all on its head. I think we will be bringing a little more of the flea market into the booth. Stay tuned! And thanks for your comment.

I’ve had a booth for a bit and my booth is small but it makes more money than most large booths in the store. It is a lot of work but so much fun, I hope y’all do great and I hope it is very successful for you. And just some advice definitely don’t be afraid to fill it, I sell more smalls than anything. Also just curious are their rules and a certain amount of money you have to make each month to be able to stay at that store?
Also always take pictures of your booth especially after you add new items, great way to keep track of items and it something gets stolen and great for advertising your booth. I advertise mine on Facebook and instagram.
You’re very right about filling it. The smalls are what we’re selling the most of as well. One of the last things we sold was an unused and still in the original box vintage kitten shower curtain for $35. I see that we sell useful and practical items a lot so I’m looking out for that at estate sales. Thanks so much for the tips! I think if you don’t restock your booth regularly most antique malls ask you to leave. I don’t know specifically about the policy at ours. It doesn’t say anything about that. We make our rent in a week which is what we’ve been counting on. Of course, we’d love to see that improve in the very busy periods.
Great idea about taking photos of new items. We generally do that for social media but hadn’t thought about that in terms of theft. I’ve seen people list furniture from their booths on social media and we are thinking about doing that as well. Does it work out that people go to the booth and buy things?
@@earthlydelights Absolutely, our owner and manager do a live show every week and at the end they do a walk through of the store and it brings in so many people and then I personally will post and advertise on socials and it really helps. I also will post single furniture items and post the store address and hours and everything. I really enjoy watching your videos btw.
