im confused on colaps giving a 15 on originality i think osis is easily one of the most original beatboxers alive right now
Yeah I kinda agree with colaps on the melody being a little hard to follow Osis did really good but it would’ve been a lot better if the melody was consistent like in his other routines example being money and cash, that song has a clear beat and melody to follow but with this one it’s hard to get the melody or theme. It did appear a little bit but sometimes it sounded like technical beatboxing without a theme which isn’t always bad but I think for this particular performance it didn’t help.
Is it? I actually find this melody and flow to be so much easier to understand than say his other songs
@@vedantgupta2145 interesting I guess to each his own but for me it was hard to locate the melody. I mean the second judge did give him a 19 on musicality meaning that people definitely will hear different things but for me it was a bit hard to locate the theme melody of this song like if I wanted to attempt to copy the time it would probably be all over the place for me but I can copy the time of money and cash and marvelous the round he used against king inertia and the first round against adi kerang at German beatbox those have clear easy to follow melodies. If you haven’t watched those battles at German beatbox watch Osis rounds and melodies and tell me if those are easier to follow than this one or not I’m just curious on your opinion.
l@@timmyj4468 its definitely a personal preference and what your ear can comprehend compared to others, i can follow this flow and melody pretty easily but as a downside im what you could call "tone-deaf" so all of our ears just understand different ways 💪🏻
Hard agree. The musicality popped off mostly in the lyrical parts which I loved, however in the pure beatboxing sections it WAS very hard to locate a comprehensive groove
