Like you (I assume) I‘m a Metal guy, and a few years ago I probably would not have accepted music as poppy as this. But now I‘m jumping around singing „Da Da Dance“ like a madman. BABYMETAL have helped me evolve, and I‘m grateful for that. I love everything they do, and music has never been as much fun to me as it is now. What a fascinating band!

Short info on Babymetal: Theband that's playing is the Kami-band. Babymetal cinsists of now 2 members, Su-metal (main singer) and Moa-metal (main dance, background singing, the one withthe long twintails). The other dancer is a supportdancer that does not sing. She replaced the original third girl who was Yui-metal. She left the band 2 years ago due to personal reasons. Babymetal started almost ten years ago as a subunit from a bigger school-idol group when all three girls were just 12 years old. Now they are 21/22.
Yui left for health reasons but your right that could be called personal reasons . If you watch her last appearances at 5 fox festvals she did not seem herself .
Last I heard there are 3 new members rotating to take Yui's place, Kano Fujihira, Riho Sayashi and Momoko Okazaki - who are known as the "Avengers". And I thought SuMetal was 2 years older than Yui and Moa.

They are in their twenties now, they started as Babymetal in 2012, I think. The videos you have been reacting to date, they were in their mid-teens. They have gone from cute to beautiful and Moa is gorgeous. My highlight is Moa RAPPING. They are touring Europe right now, waiting on the US tour schedule.

Actually, they started in 2010; they’re celebrating their 10 year anniversary in November of this year. They toured the US in September and October of 2019; it’s unlikely that they’ll be touring in the US again in 2020.

There are so many old ones that are fantastic that you haven't done yet :) They keep getting better as they perform them live and it takes a while before we get a high quality recording of live performances on youtube. BxMxC for example sounds so great but all we have so far is fancams and the studio audio.

You should totally react to The Hu. They are a Mongolian Metal band and they opened for Babymetal this year on their US tour. Start with Wolf Totem or the Great Chinggis Khaan. They also did a collaboration with Papa Roach on Wolf Totem that is amazing!

If you want to explore more Japanese rock: ONE OK ROCK - more generic rock, but I love them to death WAGAKKI BAND - combines traditional Japanese instruments with rock HYDE - one of the longest reigning J-rock musicians and does an amazing live show Something completely different? The Visual Kei genre from the 2000s. And MIYAVI He is a slap guitarist and breaks all the rules of J-rock/J-pop
It's hard to recommend songs from Babymetal, since I ended up just listening to all their albums over and over, and ultimately recommending pretty much every single song. xD I'll try to recommend just a few. You need to listen to at least one of Black Baby Metal's songs. BBM songs are sung by Moa and Yui rather than by Su, and now that Yui's gone there's not a lot of them, but they're all pretty great. My favourite is 'Onedari Daisakusen' (ruclips.net/video/VQ9qBj_KqR8/видео.html). I'd also recommend 'Night Night Burn!' (ruclips.net/video/0e3P7IzKU7g/видео.html) from their new album. Couldn't find a version that had video and good sound quality sadly, but they did a lot of experimentation on the new album, and this is one of my favs from it. 'Syncopation' (ruclips.net/video/hChZRzLWJ70/видео.html) from Album 2 was great as well, and also was Japan Exclusive, so it's not quite as well known internationally. 'Awadama Fever' (ruclips.net/video/hcVzBLQZy20/видео.html) is also a solid song from Album 2 I'd for sure recommend. 'Amore' (ruclips.net/video/JvBVTTf1Lg8/видео.html) is probably my fav song from Album 2, so recommending it is a no brainer. 'Akatsuki' (ruclips.net/video/g2372C5PJLM/видео.html) from Album 1 is also very similar to Amore, so if you liked that one you'll enjoy this one too. 'BxMxC' (ruclips.net/video/ULqe6K2ihys/видео.html) from Album 3. Another one currently without a good live performance, and another Japan Exclusive song. It's very different (like most songs on Album 3), and I bet most people wouldn't even think this was BabyMetal at all if they just heard it on the radio. Seriously though, you could pick any Babymetal song and have a great time.
you might want to check out Waggaki Band Waggaki Band - Ignite , they have traditional Japanese instruments in their band similar to Eluvete. A pretty unique one.

'Amore' (ruclips.net/video/JvBVTTf1Lg8/видео.html) is probably my fav song from Album 2, so recommending it is a no brainer.
'Akatsuki' (ruclips.net/video/g2372C5PJLM/видео.html) from Album 1 is also very similar to Amore, so if you liked that one you'll enjoy this one too.
'BxMxC' (ruclips.net/video/ULqe6K2ihys/видео.html) from Album 3. Another one currently without a good live performance, and another Japan Exclusive song. It's very different (like most songs on Album 3), and I bet most people wouldn't even think this was BabyMetal at all if they just heard it on the radio.
Seriously though, you could pick any Babymetal song and have a great time.
