Bale did a great job! I saw kids closing their eyes when they showed Gorr in closeup.
He did a fine job ‘entertaining’ the Asgardian kids when he played Gorr. Meaning the scene where he did a show and tell by twisting a creature’s head off.
Fucu dem kids.
I wish we had seen more of Christian Bale as Gorr, to truly understand the extent of how menacing and powerful Gorr is. Only then it would have been easier or clearer to realise how monumental it was for Thor to defeat him.
Actuality Bale did PERFECT job showing Gorr true character in my opinion, because in the comics he wasn't evil or a villain just a broken hearted father and husband who lost everything while trusting a false God and was tired of empty promises

Christian Bale as Gorr really did remind me of Patrick Bateman in a few scenes (The scene where he scares the kid was just Patrick Bateman in that moment, and I loved it), that's all I'm gonna say. You're gonna have to watch the movie to find out the rest XD.
I love seeing the cast of thor love and thunder and chris teaming up with the guardians again is just wonderful!

I loved Christian Bale's character a lot but they wasted him. I just feel they could've given him more screen time instead of all the comedy it had. His powers are so cool and the way he fights and vanishes is amazing and they could've made better fight scenes.

Credit to Christian Bale, to have his emotional scene side by side with another emotional scene that has spanned over a decade with multiple movies, it would be easy for it to get brushed aside but I was genuinely impacted by them both equally and I think a lot of that goes to Bales final performance

I feel like the portrayal of Thor, has a lack of a better term “dumb blonde” was quite over done in this movie I feel there were moments in the movie were I felt Thor would take things more serious, to really show that lives were at stake. They tried too much to feed off the success that Ragnarok engineered. As a movie it was great I loved it, I personally enjoyed Bale’s performance as Gorr the God butcher, he channeled somewhat the same energy that Heath used when playing Joker in TDK.

Yes, I agree with that. Especially during the scene where Gorr tied the three Asgardians. His threatening style reminded me of Heath Ledger's version of the Joker. So creepy.

Because of its excessive and dragged to the top jokes. Its like every scene is 70% jokes and 30% everything else. There was so much potential with gorr because he was absolutely brilliant and on top of that the movie definetly felt hella rushed

That Omnipotence City should have been destroyed by Gorr the God Butcher after seriously defeating Thor and defeating the Guardian Of Galaxy easily in Asgard in the First round.
But Gorr's victory also left him seriously injured but Gorr managed to take the Children of Asgard and Jane Foster and bring Stormbreaker which is the Key.
Zeus was almost killed by Gorr but he survived because he mentioned the location of Eternity.
But Gorr forgot that the Necrosword Sword could possibly be destroyed by Zeus' Lightning Thunder Weapon which was given to Thor with Zeus' prayers.
In Thor's final battle with Gorr the Door of Eternity which in that battle resulted in the death of the Valkyrie and the defeat of Hercules.
Thor almost lost again and could not save Jane Foster and the captive Asgardians.
However, with Jane Foster's love for Thor, Mjolnir, the shattered Thor, revived in Jane foster's hands, and together with Thor, who used Lightning Thunder in a fight with Gor, destroyed the Necrosword Sword and released Stormbreaker from Gorr's influence. The victory that can be obtained is not easy and makes all three helpless.
But the door of Eternity has been opened with Prayers and Hopes from the children of Asgard and the spirit of the helpless Jane Foster, Thor can also get the power of love to tread painstakingly and painfully and make a wish to Eternity that restores the damage caused by Gorr and makes him forget. of what he had done and made the Gods aware of their duty to protect humans.
But the Dead still can't be turned on.
The tone color that is made must also be 70% Dark and emphasizes the power of Gorr the God Butcher with a Necrosword Sword that is very strong beyond Thanos.
All I am saying is Gorr and Thor have a similar past in a way you could say Thor lost everyone he knew so did Gorr you could say Thor lost his home so did Gorr like they have similarities in a way you could say both of them have a similar Origin story
