She had a genuine vibe with the people she was interviewing, she asked thoughtful questions (among the obligatory questions that everybody has to ask), she kept the questions rolling when it was appropriate, and best of all, she let them speak, as opposed to talking over them, which so many other interviewers do as they are in love with the sound of their own voice. Well done!

What Chris said about Taika's movies is so true. It's goofy. It's ridiculous. But then there's a scene that comes out of nowhere that just tugs on your heartstrings. Recent example is Jojo Rabbit. That movie was so good.

This is one of the best celeb interviews I’ve ever seen. The interviewer is fantastic, she asks great questions and has good rapport with the actors. There’s none of the stilted feeling and formulaic questions seen too often in movie promo interviews and she lets the great chemistry between these three roll the interview along.
So happy that Tessa said Valkyrie isn’t entirely reformed despite being king. The allure of her character was the messiness she embodied. Excited to see her growth but also see Valkyrie be who she is at her core! Also Chris and Tessa’s chemistry is always on display in interviews. Get us a romcom, Taika can write it 😂

Tessa was a fantastic surprise to me. I was only familiar with her from Westworld where her character was not humorous she is hilarious and adorable. Quickly became my favorite character!
Me too, I’ve been a fan of Bale for a long time and to see him do so many different roles is absolutely wonderful. He is a unique and masterful actor in my opinion. If you haven’t yet you should check out Hostiles which is one of his underrated movies. His eyes are expressive in that movie and his performance was electrifying.

In the comics, thor gets with valkyrie or lady sif….thats how thor odinson has a daughter…. ….thor falls in love with one of the two….im leaning more on lady sif for the mcu….but he cud fall in love with valkyrie too…. …valkyrie is bisexual in the comics….. Plus, chris & tessa have chemistry….i cud see a love that comes out-of-nowhere for both of their characters….

The 3 of them managed to do this 26-minute interview so smoothly with barely any signs of panic attacks. Liz Olsen, Tom Holland, and Mark Ruffalo should take notes 😂 Also, huge props to the interviewer she's really cool
Taika is a perfect director for Marvel films. Marvel films are usually terrible with their jokes, they are misplaced and disrespectful for the emotions that they interrupt. Taika's films are full of emotions all naturally following each other, instead of awkwardly interrupting an important moment. Thor Ragnarok is "one of those" marvel films that are endlessly rewatchable, which are perhaps no more than 5: Ironman, Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, Ragnarok, and perhaps No Way Home (it relies too much on nostalgia for its own merit).
Tessa has a double or quadruple premier: Thor Love & Thunder (IV) plus Westworld season IV! So things are back in the MCU & sci-fi world and fans can't be any happier 🙂
@@senister14 Why not, Ragnarok earned 850 million and that came after Thor 2 which was mediocre, and no one knew about Taika and his vision of the character. Love and Thunder has that already, so I'd say 1 billion is realistic, but it will depend on first week reviews.

Finally somewhat relieved with the tickets for Thor: Love and Thunder. Thor is going on a walkabout in a way but definitely getting back in shape and fighting Gorr The God Butcher should be quite interesting.

Christian Bale is as A-list as they get, and I look forward to seeing one of those all-time greats as a supporting role. We haven't really seen that in MCU yet. Most villains are pretty bland and forgettable.
You have to understand, this is a series of movies that are gonna span for at least 2 more decades, and if marvel were to cast those actors who are great, but already on their later years of life , is not a sustainable thing for the amount of time is required for their character to exist, thus those parts have to be given to actors who are also great and will be great , and while they may not have the "all time great" title from people like you , they do have that tittle from the whole academy and syndicate. So far. Almost every villain in the mcu has been an award winning actor in multiple platforms . So I dnt see where you say they are bland, maybe it just missed you as a target audience. My kids, my younger friends and me in my early 40s do find all the villains and actors very well cast. Only one I'm worried about is Samuel l Jackson... he is great, but realistically might not be with us another 2 decades , 😔
Wenwu was the most interesting villain yet and Tony Leung was amazing. Ultron might have been not really complex but James Spader's performance was great. And I actually think the Vulture is underrated, I'd love for him to return.

Christian Bale is as A-list as they get, and I look forward to seeing one of those all-time greats as a supporting role. We haven't really seen that in MCU yet. Most villains are pretty bland and forgettable.
Exactly. Have yet to see some DCU caliber villain like the 3 Jokers Nicholson, Ledger, and -in a solo film- Phoenix..
You have to understand, this is a series of movies that are gonna span for at least 2 more decades, and if marvel were to cast those actors who are great, but already on their later years of life , is not a sustainable thing for the amount of time is required for their character to exist, thus those parts have to be given to actors who are also great and will be great , and while they may not have the "all time great" title from people like you , they do have that tittle from the whole academy and syndicate. So far. Almost every villain in the mcu has been an award winning actor in multiple platforms . So I dnt see where you say they are bland, maybe it just missed you as a target audience. My kids, my younger friends and me in my early 40s do find all the villains and actors very well cast.
Only one I'm worried about is Samuel l Jackson... he is great, but realistically might not be with us another 2 decades , 😔
Wenwu was the most interesting villain yet and Tony Leung was amazing. Ultron might have been not really complex but James Spader's performance was great. And I actually think the Vulture is underrated, I'd love for him to return.

true! it almost seems like a feat to make the hero more interesting than the villain but other than loki and *maybe* thanos marvel hasn’t really achieved a truly fascinating villain
