- Chris Hemsworth joins BBC Radio 1's film critic Ali Plumb to talk about his latest Marvel movie, Thor: Love and Thunder. Chris discusses beating Hugh Jackman to a Deadpool cameo, getting Thor's godbod back, and what it's like being directed by Taika Waititi. Plus, Ali asks whether the Big Lebowski has broken the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And... what about Loki??
(This interview was done way back in March 2022, so there was no trailer at the time. Ali literally only had a Lego set to go on!)

Taika kinda did the same in Ragnarok (reviving Thor in mcu) that's why Chris said that he will return as Thor only if Taika returns ... Cause only he can do some justice with the character... infinity war thor was absolutely what Thor is capable of... Us they showed tje struggling phase of him ... In Endgame he was just there for nothing

The fact that some of them actually remember him and their previous interview is either proof of Ali being a god or their PR team working wonders.

I mean technically speaking, with his appearance in multiverse of madnesses, Patrick Stuart has the record of playing a superhero for the longest time
James McAvoy played Xavier for a few movies so that doesn't count. Hugh is the only actor to play wolverine in live action.
Yep more appearances by one but less screen time. Cause 2 of the movies were just really short backstory or end credit cameos. X-men Origins' Wolverine and The Wolverine

We think you're technically right! Although Multiverse of Madness wasn't out at the point this interview was recorded, so Sir Patrick was still just a rumour.

I think it would be a little weird since Loki season 1 wouldn't make sense unless if it's a different Loki. Or they bring that whole plot into Thor but I don't want to much shit happening.
Although I'm enjoying Chris's interviews and press tour of Love n Thunder. I hope we get a Bale interview as well.

we actually might be getting multiple thor's in this film if you count thors costume changes, jane fostor, and the fact in the comics it took thor and his past and future selves to defeat gorr.

I absolutely enjoy interviews done by Ali ❤️i love his questions, the way he makes the interviews fun and informative, and the way hes passionate about what he does! he seems to be very well liked by all of the celeb interviewees too!
I can't ever seem anyone beating Hugh Jackman as wolverine . Maybe I'm wrong there are just some actors that are born for certain roles . Chris Hemsworth is another actor that I think is the best choice for Thor . Just like RDJ as iron man or Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool
Sorry if im wrong or just a busy body but they're talking about the longest actor who have played the same superhero in which thor for 11 years while hugh as wolverine is 16 years so thats it
I mean a lot of that is just because they are the first to play the roles. Christopher Reeve for instance was iconic as Superman but I'd say Cavill is better even if comic fans hate new superman.
The casting has definitely been great for most of the MCU roles though. DC need to up their game 🤷♂️
