I am a 44yo white male, heterosexual, and an Army combat vet (you know, super duper toxically masculine). I have a newly turned 13yo daughter that I recently introduced to your content. She is a fan and I wanted to thank you for the great content that you release. These videos are helping her deal with seeing similar issues in her junior high school. This is a crazy world that we live in now; but we will make it sane again, just one day at a time. cheers Brett
Lmao, what makes the Army toxic masculine? I've met so many Army vets who would drop everything to have a tea party with their daughter, and it sounds like you would too. Don't attach yourself to negativity if you don't truly exhibit those negative traits :)
@@glssprncss appreciate the comment. I stated it more so to be sarcastic towards the fragile soy eaters/drinkers of the world that are emotional hemophiliac's. My daughter is my world.

When I was 17, about when the pandemic was taking flight, I was just, playing with my style, being a regular tomboy. My mom didn't think anything about it since she's always been open about the way I dress or just my style in general. But, when a friend started noticing my change in style, she told me and convinced me that I was trans and recommended this whole set of trans influencers, so that I could "find myself". I started mentally convincing myself that I was trans, bought myself a binder, cut my long hair and started wearing boys clothes only. My back started hurting like hell and began experiencing severe back pain every single day to the point where I had to go to the ER. Thank god I didn't go too far, never went on testosterone nor surgery. One day I sat with my mom, cried my heart out and told her I couldn't handle it anymore and she could crearly tell that I was falling apart. She told me that nothing was wrong with me, I was just being a woman, with a diferent style. I went back to growing my hair, as it used to be, wore my regular clothes, and once again, I felt like myself. I realized how toxic this content can be, and how it can really play with your mental health and the way you see yourself. To this day your content has helped me so much and I couldn't thank the internet more for recommending your videos. Thank you for what you do ❤
Wow I had a similar experience. Im 18 now but when I was in middle school everyone called me gay or trans or non binary cuz i like jeans and a hoodie. I was raised around boys and I am a tomboy. Anyway, my mom seemed to think i was expressing myself as non-binary and told the school to start calling me they/them. Honestly, I didn't even understand what it was and she didn't even have a conversation with me. It's like she just decided I was LGBTQ. She even told me she would take me shopping for binders and she took me to get my head shaved. I cried for like 3 whole weeks after that. Luckily, I told every teacher that called me that I was a woman even if I didn't look like one lol. A few months ago, I talked with my mom about this and how she kind of forced it on me. She even admitted if I had talked about testosterone, she would have let me take it. That was super scary to hear, Imagine my friend had told me about it or if I had been on social media more. I could be a trans man right now with severe mental health issues. I wonder how many kids didn't get out and are now stuck living like that.
Oh my goodness! Thank the Lord you made it through! In Canada you are allowed to vote at 18. No one should make a life changing decision before then! I would actually push it to 21 years of age. By then you can make an informed decision. 🤞Parents as well should not be making the decision. I have a feeling we will have many of these poor souls suing their parents for having pushed them in that direction. 😡Parents are meant to protect their children!
Y'all don't take advice from non-trans people😭What you experienced wasn't gender dysphoria like these people do,you just had your own style. The people who gave you "advice" probably had just heard about being trans and had no idea what it actually was like. And I'm saying that for the dumbasses who are about to judge all of them for no reason at all
When I was 10 I took a gay quiz on youtube and it said I was bisexual. I started to identify as bisexual in 2020. I only took the test because I had hormones running throughout my body and was slightly sexually attracted to women. After awhile I started to go up and down the spectrum. I was bisexual, then a lesbian, then I was pansexual, then I was into more masculine women than feminine, etc. Then I also got into gender. I was a demi-girl, non-binary, bigender, transgender, etc. Up until this summer I was gay for 3 years. After having a relationship with a guy I finally realized I am a straight women. I love being a women and I don't know why I never did like it. At one point I was asexual and didn't want children. Now I am very excited to have children when I'm older. This all happened to me because I was a 10 year old girl going through puberty that got ahold of the wrong side of TikTok/the internet and wanted to be labeled and fit in.
I grew up in a time where one wasn't confronted with all these labels and possibilities at all, and several of my friends had a similar journey exploring their identity, like you did. They just didn't even have names for any of it (besides "gay/lesbian"). It was very hard on them too. Now, I think people (young people in particular) could benefit greatly if we stop focusing on gender altogether, but it's normal for young folks to go through phases of self-discovery, which often isn't fun.
Kids want to feel special and different but in safe/protected ways. What better way than through these protected groups? When I was young kids would've been FAAAR too afraid of ridicule to claim transgender unless they were convinced they really were. Now it seems like "eh I'll try it and if I don't like it I'll quit" or "this seems like a good way to get some desired attention/control".
Prayers for you! I’ve had a similar experience but Jesus got me outta that before I went in too far! I’m glad you have a wonderful life and excited for you kids for you! God bless you and prayers for you!
I am a 13 year old girl and I feel like I don’t fit in at all. I was starting to question my gender and felt really depressed and that nobody would ever get me. But, once I found you, you opened my eyes to how crazy this actually is. Thank you Brett :)
You are only 13. I'm 30 now but when I was a teenager I never felt like I fit in too. And let me tell you, every teenager feels like this. You are at an age were you are starting to discover who you are. And you can be a girl and wear masculine things or feminine things depending on your mood. It's fine to be a girl and being more boyish. Just take care of yourself and enjoy your hobbies :)
@@tosh.m.k as another almost 30 yr old, I gotta say this hits home, and those "not fitting in" feelings never go away but after a while you do develop different tactics and mechanisms to skirt around those feelings and still engage with people from any "clique" you might be trying to "fit" into.
Most 13 years olds feel they don't fit in unless they have members of the opposite sex trying to bed them. And most 13 year olds don't have that. That's where cults get members. And the Trans community is a cult. Cults find people who feel they don't belong, hug them and tell them they love them ... then take advantage of them ...THEN TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEM !!!. Just relax and cultivate that which is in you that makes you different. Do you think Brett ever tried to be like the crowd?
i went through the same thing when i was your age (i'm now 20) and i'm so glad i didn't actually listen to the people around me who pushed changing genders and a bunch of weird gender identities. puberty as a girl is so difficult and adjusting to the changes can make you feel uncomfortable in your body but you will grow out of it
I am old enough to remember growing up in a time where me and my peers hated labels. As teens, we would shake our fists at society (metaphorically) and yell "we don't need no labels." A generation later , and most teens today care only about their "labels". It is CRAZY how fast it changed.
I had this exact conversation with my daughter while I was cooking dinner. I am a man who has zero interest in football, basketball, baseball, and my daughter doesn’t like to wear skirts. These things don’t make us any less man or woman. They make us human.
These conversations are the actual healthy way to discuss self identity. "You're a girl but you don't like wearing skirts; that's just fine. Be who you want to be." Not the modernized rhetoric of "YOU DON'T HAVE LIKE SKIRTS? YOU ARE MAN IN CHESTFEEDER BODY". Thank you for being a reasonable adult who is not pushing any one ideal on your kid.
So true. I’m a teenager too and seeing the people around me in class or something slowly getting brainwashed and being like “we have to accept everything, don’t you dare criticise anything or you’ll be the outcast” just really pisses me off. I mean go for it, idgaf, but don’t expect me to do the same. I’m going to criticise what I want and that’s not anyone’s fcking business. For me, this whole thing is just completely brain rot, the gender thing went wayyyyy too far and I’m extremely worried about the little children growing up with this
I've never seen anything like this. Honestly, I agree; I grew up a tomboy but that doesn't make me less of a girl. People need to accept that their personality is okay and they don't need to change their identity to match it.
Speaking solely for myself , I always preferred being with a woman like yourself. Romantically , as friends , or as dates sharing space. Being with what I thought of as a real woman was my desire. All the gender identity crap confuses me to no end , I hate it. And for the record "Hate" is not a word I throw around lightly.
As much as I like freedom, transgenderism needs to be limited in some ways, for instance no one should have to recognize a divine gender or be sentenced to homelessness and starvation and excommunication from the global economy rather than apostatize. This is leading to a Shadrak, Meshak and Abednago moment. The angels will shelter the defiant, but that doesn't mean we can't vote to stop it. This is straight up mark of the beast s***.
I’m a 15 year old sophomore and I’m so grateful that you talked about growing up as a tomboy. So many of my peers have tried to convince me that I’m not feminine enough to be a woman because I’m more masculine than most women my age. I started to believe them and I thought I wasn’t a “real woman.” I’m so glad I never tried to change my gender. I’m a woman, and I’m proud of that.
im 44 years old, so a lot older than you, and when i went to school ppl loved to dress as a tomboy and there is nothing wrong with it at all. dress how you want to dress. things are getting so bad now and trying to push ppl to be someone there not, just keep being you :)
As a 40 year old woman that was a tomboy- loved playing outside, sports, dirt, GI Joe's, never wore makeup, comfortable in boys clothes, hated dresses ect. I am still a woman! As I grew out of HS I went through stages of wearing makeup & dresses but it never changed that I'm a woman! They call us tomboys and there is nothing wrong with not being "girly", that's not what makes you a woman. I'm really sad you even went through that & that adults are pushing this agenda. I am so happy that you realized being you is okay & you can spread your story!

I am a field geologist. Most of my days are spent in the field, hair in a cap, talking smack with drill crews or off roading trucks across closed landfills. I’ve never once thought that made me less of a woman and more of a man.
if she’s trigender that means she identifies as male, female and non-binary right? but, being non-binary means you don’t identify as either male or female 😂 so she’s non-binary then. 🤣
2000s: we don’t want to be labeled just because we don’t conform to the norm. We have different interests and personalities that make us unique. We don’t even force it on others. 2020s: We want labels and to be labeled. Making up personalities to be unique and force others to conform to us, as we follow trends hundreds are already following, and become less unique, this makes us feel unique.
Totally agree on those fake compliments... moreover some people are force you to say or act cute or laugh on something while you absolutely don't care about the that stuff
as if "trigender" wasn't enough, there are "neopronouns", not just like "ze/zir", but also "kit/kitself", "dream/dreamself", "corpse/corpseself", "doll/dollself". its so insane.
The only person that's allowed to use corpse as a pronoun is corpse husband. Anyone else is a fuckin lunatic. I tolerate nonbinary people. Key word, tolerate. But every other crazy gender or pronoun can fuck off. And this is coming from someone who's trans :/
I'm a woman but I don't necessarily "feel" female, I just "feel" like being myself. I face typical femal problems from actual biological problems each months to more stereotypical problems like not being tall enough to reach upper shelves or not getting a glass if pickles open. Otherwise I like to dress in a more feminine or just neutral way and I like to read romance novels, yet I'm also interested in motorsports and love hiking - but none if this makes me more or less of a woman that jzst makes me uniquely me.
I feel like sometimes people are forgetting that being a women or man doesn’t necessarily define who you are, like didn’t we like go through a whole thing about how you can be a women and also not always be feminine 😞
Agree. Hobbies define a person far more than what they want to sleep with. It’s almost pitiful to see people sum themselves up entirely by what they want to fuck. Is that all you are as a person? There’s nothing more to you other than being [insert relevant sexuality].
True. OG Feminists fought years for feminine men and masculine women. And now it feels like we took big steps backwards. Now it’s AGAIN not ok for women to be masculine, bc that automatically takes away being woman from you. You HAVE TO be Trans or nonbinary. Same for feminine men. Like wtf?? Let people just be people without this Transitioning and QT+ bs
Thank you Brett for opening my eyes. I’m currently a 15 year old girl, and when I was 12-13, I thought I was transgender. I came across your channel and I flourished. Now, I’m a 2 time women’s pageant winner and a semiprofessional musician. You turned my life around. Thank you.
I was adopted at birth and am in an adoptee group on Facebook. The amount of people who’s entire identity is ‘adopted’. I can honestly say if someone said ‘tell me about yourself’ it wouldn’t even occur to me to start or end with ‘adopted’ or ‘woman’. I cook, I bake, I read, I love camping and woodwork, I have kids and cats and a dog and we have a new kitten. The whole world has gone so very mad.
@@cwningen they aren’t any special breed, just domestic short hair. Shes above everyone else. She has gone beyond reality and is everything and nothing all at once. She's here but not here. She is everything she loves yet everything she hates. SHE. IS. TRIGENDER!!
I'm embarrassed to admit this, but in my 20s, I briefly thought I was some kind of non-binary gender because I've always been a tomboy. As I get older (I'm in my mid-30s now), I look back not just with laughter at how foolish I was but with sadness that I bought into that. And I was part of a generation that as teenagers we said "labels are for soup cans".
Sometimes I feel weird for being a female who isn't into sappy romance, a lot of make up and doing things most girls like to do. For example I prefer watching action/suspense shows and movies and also mystery stuff. Meanwhile I have friends who likes romance and I just feel odd. I tried to force myself to like that stuff but I can. I just cringe at it
@@theravenscout4569 i consider myself a girly-girl and i also dont like romance. My husband is much more "romantic" than me. i dont watch shows with drama. I love sci-fi and hate that sappy stuff.
We need people like you speaking out against hormone therapy (or even worse, surgery) for teenagers who are nowhere near close enough to make life-altering decisions yet.
You hit the nail on the head so sweetly. They don't value themselves as they are, they need weird labels to feel special. Hopefully they'll just grow up and out of it.
I was brainwashed by my friends at 13 that i was bi. Finally i realised that i wasnt, and i was straight. After that, i was bullied for 2 years of my life because of my views. Im only just coming out of my bullying. Please stop letting people tell you who you are. Please.
This also happened to me! My friend group was super toxic, saying that if you're straight, you're homophobic. Only took me 5 months to realize that they were only seeking attention. (ps: all of this happened during quarantine, when the gender topic on tiktok became huge)
I was a tomboy up until 18yo and was also brainwashed at 12 by a "friend" telling me I might be lesbian and I would know only after I tried. Turns out she was "in love" with me and wanted to take advantage of the fact that I was younger. We kissed for 4-5 times and I decided it was just weird (luckily) and not for me. She's always been a tomboy and now is dressing like a man, dying her hair all different colours and being as loud as she can whenever she speaks (I lived in a small city and saw her often from a distance). It is troubling the thought that hadn't I come to a realisation I might have ended up in the same exact position. You're never too young to be true to yourself.
I’m in my 30’s and Emo/Goth was the scene that all the HS misfits and alternative teens were in back in 2003. The only permanent things we were doing were getting tattoos and possibly getting a scar from a bad piercing. Now the misfits and alternative kids are chopping off body parts as a part of the new phase and that terrifies me. And yes a good chunk of these people are going through a phase (not all but a good bit).
Hi. Do u have numbers of how many children are getting gender confirming surgeries? That's important as it may not be that much. Idk if u know who matt walsh is, but he is the "what is a woman" guy. Basicly all of these claims that the country is becoming trans and that millions of kids are getting surgeries is a lie. There really isnt that many kids getting surgeries. Matt went to a congressional meeting and they tore him apart for lack of evidence. These right wing commentators are just as bad as the woke ones. They all complain about fake things just to have something to talk about.
@@ishygoel thats isolating them from the world they live in. Let them learn about it and learn how to face it. I have a friend who went no contact with her parents because they always isolated her from reality.
I am a 16 year old girl, 17 later this year. I was once questioning my own gender identity because I was so exposed to it at school and on social media. I have had a total revelation about three years ago and I have done a 180°. For awhile I was really confused, then I got super into politics and I realized how *wrong* I was. I literally cannot thank people like you for existing because you saved me from the delusion I was falling in to.
@Jay Blue we were made to be with a person of the opposite gender, people are pushing their desires over the natural order God made. They have us questioning that if we have a desire it's your identity and you can/should pursue that, but there are lots of people who have desires that they shouldn't pursue like pedophiles. We have to follow God's order for creation, sanctification. Love you all and God bless.
super glad that young humans (from the comment section here) are listening to Brett and realizing that its okay to be you and you are wonderful just the way you are.
This is what happens when narcissism is vaunted as a positive trait instead of treating it like the disorder it is. She is clearly deriving her self-worth only from the labels she assigns herself and the attention it draws. Most of us go through this stage in our psychological development between 8 and 15 where our sense of identity grows beyond the superficial. Arrested development: it's not just a TV show.
Yes! "Its so hard adulting! I'm gonna go come up with all the labels I can that aren't 'Mrs. Popstar' because I'm progressive and write fan fiction" And it's being supported.
Bro this generation is just screwed, the fact that I literally got brainwashed into believing that I was Bisexual just because I wore boy clothes and didn’t “act” girly enough is crazy. I am only newly 17 years old and watching 20+ year old who are supposed to be the role models for us behave this way truly gives me no hope for humanity. I pray that Jesus may heal these people 🙏🏾
Dude, judging a community of people for simply raising awareness is just ☠️.I also don't understand what you think you achieve when you say "heal".Who you like is something determined by your brain during its development, it isn't a choice nor a disease. Like I can't take this anymore with people who think they're smart to judge something that they haven't experienced.Raising awareness isn't brainwashing, you were just easily disturbed. That's a different case
@@nectarandambrosia_ what I mean by heal is that May God “heal” these people there is no double meaning behind that. Also I don’t care if you like women/men or whatever you like. But telling people what their sexuality is just because they don’t fit the basic narrative of a straight person doesn’t make any sense at all, there are many children exposed to this false news of “you don’t act like other girls so you must be gay” “you like feminine clothing so you must be gay” sexuality, correct me if am wrong shouldn’t be forced down people’s throats but instead should be something you discover on your own. I am not over here bashing Gay people, God said to love your neighbors as you love yourself and I love and cherish the LGBTQ+ community as my neighbors, I may not agree with it but you won’t see me actively hating on them because that’s just not who I am.
@JAOLYXCE Sadly it is shoved down everyone's throats...everywhere ;-; they even wanna teach it to kids that have no clue about sexuality whatsoever, it's getting out of hand
In my middle school or old middle school every female said they were trans or gay and for some reason I was always the weird kid who was homophobic and called trans people "the thing" or "it" and every time i talked ab LGBT people they would cut me off especially if I tried to talk them out of their strange hallucinations bc i read ab how trans kids who go through the surgery to change their gender permanently, have a 91% chance of commiting suicide. Now i don't know what i should do.😢❤
You should just respect people's gender identities and their pronouns. The high percentage of chance of committing suicide isn't real. There has been so much proof that gender affirming care has improved the mental health of these people. You shouldn't try to change how these people identify as.
@@Celery605 gender is what you are born with and so are pronouns, if no one wants to take part in this new delusion, then we have the right to not take part.
Yikes. You're gonna grow up to be one of those loser sigma editors. Stop being a dick and just find more people who are straight and cis like yourself. Leave the others alone.

If I look in the mirror and say that I feel handsome in a masculine way but cheerful in a feminine way... That's... nonsense :D But I can justify that as feeling both at the same time and make up some BS about it being some tri-gender HORSESHIT.

As a bow hunting daddies girl, I so appreciate you reminding people they can be tomboys and feminine and it doesn’t mean they’re gay! Bless you Brett and love your content💛
@l.a.1477 what the difference tomboy to female to male? One just exhibit more masculization. Tomboy girls like things that are guy and if they keep being this way into adulthood, shot hair, boy hobbies, long pants. They are very close to female to male.
@l.a.1477 no there isn't tomboy is just not that obsessed. And they grow out of it but if the tomboy behaviour still persist then you get trans. However you still confused people when you try to explain that you like doing guy thing and say it's okay. If a guy say he always like playing with dolls, dress up, makeup all the things related to what girls do. Saying it's okay and that he just a femine boy is just escaping reality. 😕 He really has some deep issues that need addressing.
Wow. I have read a lot of these comments and I am amazed by how many lives you have changed. You are such an incredible person. Keep making videos and changing lives!
whats frustrating is that none of this shit matters. They're literally just expressing how everybody feels at time. I'm masculine all day, but I get around a kitten and I'm pretty soft. The idea that they need a label is silly.
I was a cross dresser for about 4 years as a coping mechanism (I was being s*xually ass**lted nearly daily during this time) and called myself agender, but I never went with any weird pronouns. Once I got some help realized I am definitely not agender. So whenever I see young people claiming to be these made up gender identitys I get really sad because they must be going through something terrible.
Don’t label yourself as something you’re not to defend yourself from horrible people… it’s definitely not your fault and it doesn’t matter what gender you’re to those kind of people
Nothing wrong with crossdressing. If that's your thing, enjoy it. But yeah... the whole AGender thing is just nonsense. I'm glad you got that sorted out. Feel better, buddy.
2:55 Thanks for spreading this message. This is what young people today need to hear. I'm almost 30 and I've had some serious identity issues because I'm a man, and I like manly things, but I also have a soft side, I cry easily, and I enjoy certain things that would be viewed as non-masculine. At one point I did start to question whether or not I really was a man. But then I met my SO who loves every part of me and didn't shame me for not fitting into the stereotypical manly man box. I'm now more confident in my masculinity than at any point in my life.
i’m the same! i’m a woman but i love some masculine things, and that’s okay. you’re not a different gender just because you have lots of interests. you’re a person first and foremost, your gender doesn’t define what you like and dislike, your gender is just the category of human you are.
you're just a human. that's all. that's why kids back then were like "don't label us!" and now it's like you must call me this and this or you're whatever phobic. what?
God, I'm so glad I found your channel! I am a simple teenager from Russia, but reading the comments I understand that the problem with "labels" has become universal. Despite the laws of my country, I have repeatedly met people from my city who were ready to pretend to be LGBT or an unusual gender in order to somehow stand out and be "not like everyone else." I considered myself bisexual for a while, but then I realized that it was nothing more than a desire to stand out at the expense of a small group of people and be "unusual". Now I understand that I would like to stand out with my knowledge and skills, and not at the expense of things that should not bother anyone except me.
Do not associate bi and gay and lesbian people with these crazy genders. I’m a gay American, and it’s not a brain disease or a way to stand out. I’m gay, but I’m not flaunting it. These crazy people trying to change their physical body and gender is CRAZY! I don’t get it. Sure love who you love and like who you like, but your born a boy or girl and you’ll die a boy or girl. The other day I saw a “Dragon spirit” gender and I was SO confused.
Привет! Мой Руси не хорошо, но я брать уроки. Русская культура мне очень интересна, и я люблю это. Это очень хорошо на я видеть Русский человек, привет из Шотландии :)
I am disappointed with my own generation… I’m 16 and I started to understand that pretty much everyone my age is super sensitive and inmature at the age of 14. I have online friends who are OLDER than me and are still wayyy more sensitive and inmature than me. It’s sad honestly… I miss 2014, 2014 was a great year, so was 2016, man the good times… It seems like after the pandemic it’s only gotten worse and worse, and I’m understanding everything more and more. A channel like yours helps me to stay confident and speak up about this stuff! Thank you!
During the beginning of highschool, I was brainwashed and peer pressured by my friends who were all apart of the LGBT community to think I was gay. I only thought this because I was afraid that they would exclude me from the group. Since I left this group after they eventually stopped including me because I wasn’t apart of the LGBT community and didn’t have the same beliefs as them. This made me realize how toxic, and delusional these kind of people are. In addition, to the amount of brainwashing they did and how much they can continue to do and attack innocent young people.
Exactly, whatever you are or whoever you are, kindness goes a long way. I'm safe to say that those people do not deserve to talk on behalf of their community, they're wicked. In fact, you can't even call those people you've described "LGBT" people anymore, they're just super toxic people that you should avoid.
So your saying all LGBTQ+ people attack young people into believing that they’re gay?? Like I will admit some gay people do that, but straight people also do that as well. Some people are just manipulative, and I feel like that stereotype for gay people shouldn’t be a thing nor should it be relevant. But that does suck that those people did that, which is wrong. But we shouldn’t be saying every gay person is like that
My upbringing around Army men, brothers, uncles, etc, gave me a robust masculine energy. It doesnt conflict with or confuse my womanhood. It does confuse my husband, who has a mildly feminine energy most of the time, having grown up with a strong sister and mother and a gentle, mathematician father. He's still plenty manly in his habits, skills and desires. We are interesting, multi faceted, different, unique people. I cant figure out why everyone is so confused about what a "personality" is.
Because a personality doesn't get you attention, being trans does. The minute any of these guys or girls declare an identity, they're flooded with attention and affirmation and praise. Nobody paid attention to Dylan prior to his days of girlhood and no one paid attention to that eccentric/quirky girl before her trigender thing. The current environment rewards this stuff and worse, it condemns being "normal." Straight and gay are normal so we get these stacked identities that are more nonsensical than the next.
I think also because of a generation of absent, workaholic, screen addicted parents who didn’t put the time and effort into getting to know their children and making them feel special. Everyone deserves to feel special from their parents and partners, and when they don’t get that many will turn to extreme measures like this to get attention and validation :(

My daughter went through so much confusion that she thought she was Trans from 12yrs old till she was almost 14. I understood why she felt like that. Being bigger and hating her body was part of it. Then we bought her more feminine clothes and a cute bikini since it was summer. She realized that she wanted to grow her hair back out and be herself and ditching the propaganda b.s. 😊❤
Your daughter experience sounds a lot like mine. When I was 14 I thought I was transgender. Only now that I'm 17 I realise I was being brain washed into believing I was transgender by the internet. I wasn't happy with being overly feminine and I didn't want to have a feminine body but that's okay. I'm growing my hair back and I am now loving myself again ❤.
@user-yi2mx2ih3d The user never said that ALL transgender people are invalid. Transgender people exist of course and have existed for a very long time. The user is just saying that children are easily influenced by peer pressure and we should be cautious with transgender identities in children but that doesn't mean we should isolate transgender people as a whole.
Anyone is free to "identify" as anything they wish. And everyone else is free to NOT be forcibly pushed into reinforcing that other person's personal delusion.
Exactly. I believe people should be free to live however they want so long as it doesn't interfere with others. But the second other people need to a) pay for other peoples mistakes as a result of those people living as they want, or b) play along with the delusion (especially under threat of law or public shaming), then a line has been crossed.
Remember, for every one of these people there’s 10,000 normal people living their lives and unaffected by madness. But no one makes videos about those people
I'm 13 and, ugh. I hate this new gender stuff, I was brainwashed at the age of 11 or so and was told i was Bisexual and or Pansexual, i wasn't and my shitty friends brought me down to believe it. I'm now a straight, 13 year old boy. Brett, you are one of a few sane people left. Second Part: Most of my friends were females, since I could never get along with other men due to our shared stupidity (lmao), and people thought i was gay and throughout elementary i was called gay, i had no fucking idea what "Gay" even was until about 5 years ago, this world is falling apart...
I can promise you, you are *not* being “brainwashed”. Nobody should be trying to brainwash anyone, and if they are that has *nothing* to do with the LGBTQ+ community
hey brett, i’m 16, and i’m a “cisgender” female. ever since i was 14, i thought identified as some nonbinary gender because of my influence from social media and people in my school. until now, i only just realized how blind i was and how i now feel much happier that i don’t need to try and identify as something different to fit in. thank you brett for opening my eyes and sharing the truth! i will definitely keep watching your show.
Girl 🥺 let's be friends. I had the exactly same experience:(((((( I'm so sorry to hear that like pls these people are so shitty doing to the minds of young teenagers.
I thought I was transgender in my freshman year because the internet told me it would help my problems but it didn’t help me now I realised I’m not trans and very happy being a “cisgender” girl
Same for me (kinda). I wanted to transition into a guy at age 10, but decided I was too shy to ‘ask my parents’ (lol wtf). Anyway I’m a pretty normal girl turning 17 this month. I don’t mean to brag but not transitioning was a true intellectual move
I agree with everything you said, what's happening to our world makes me very sad, I've had trouble my whole life making friends because I'm shy, but I've recently realized It's just so hard to feel like you belong in this world, especially as a kid, I don't necessarily want friends as much, because I've seen how crazy and terrible the people in this generation can be, It feels like getting to know people isn't worth it for the most part, I've been very disappointed wasting time and energy on people who never had my best interest, or even cared for me, a lot of people are very selfish now. This is all coming from a 16 year old girl, so stay strong out there fellow teens, hopefully things will get better.
17 right now and same here but I never trusted the vaccine to begin with. And later on I’ve just been enlightened more and more to the red side of things
The fact that you're so young and can have such well thought out opinions on topics that are so important in today's age, is incredible. I love watching your videos because they open a dialog in my own mind and allows me to challenge my own possibly "toxic" thoughts. Keep doing what you're doing, we need more people speaking out.
I agree with you and I had the opposite opinion from yours starting with the pandemic in 2020 when I was very vulnerable, insecure, and bored and the LGBT community took me in, I am now realizing how toxic it all was. Hostility, misogyny with gay men…. Etc… you’re completely right
I have to disagree... It would be easier to agree with your statement if the rest of America wasn't in shambles when it comes to all of this crap. But social media allowed her to think outside the tringle shaped box... This nation is truly free when it comes to expressing yourself LOL !! Trigender is another thing to add to the board of the random shit ppl identify as that makes zero sense.
Everyone is a result of the world around us, we reflect the infinite micro choices that where made by are parents or people we saw from a young age. What she saw was endless confusion of what reality is. We got a lucky draw, we can have civil conversations, recognise morality and accept reality. As such, it is are job as the mentally sound to help others who may not have such
I knew Brett had a decent reach but didnt know how much of the younger generation she was reaching. So many kids in here that Brett has helped and its heartwarming 🥀🇺🇲
I am so grateful that my parents had so much influence over me. I am a young woman pretty similar to Brett, I was more of a tomboy, have always loved guns and martial arts, found it easier to hang out with all the guys. I once had the thought that I wished I was a boy, but my mom corrected that thought before it could get a hold of me, so grateful because now I wear pink and have a sparkly tiara next to my boxes of ammo. It is so sad to see young women who just want to feel loved and secure taking on a fake identity because no one tells them it's fine to be who God created them to be. Thank you Brett for speaking truth, this video expressed a lot of my thoughts and feelings.
People be inventing new genders faster than scientists exploring and inventing new things 💀 Btw love the content you're probably the most educated girl on social media 😂❤️
Brett, you are a blessing. I read the comments from the young ladies, and for the first time in a long time I have hope for young people, and especially for young women 🎉
Here’s the peculiar thing - I used to follow this person cuz she was ADORABLE getting ready for work every day and doing her makeup. She started getting a lot of attention because she was so precious and pure - it wasn’t until AFTER all the views and follows that she came out and began celebrating her lgbtq+ identity. Just thought that was worth mentioning.
@@soap6364 Because, it's not probably who she really is, but has become because of attention... And because young girls see all this CRAP, yes, it is crap, they think their normal regular everyday feelings are something else than what it actually is - normal life.

I'm 12 turning 13, being on tik tok and watching all these people say and do diffrent things really confused me, I stated believing and feeding into what these people said about gender and I was honestly so lost. After finding and listening to u Brett I have realized that social media has simply caused me to become a person im not. I'm glad Brett brought this light to me and helped me correct myself, and made me see things in the correct way. All her video are truly so informative and I'm glad you make them 🙏🏼
Brett you always provide a great mix of empathy and laughing at these people. Personally I don’t usually enjoy one (completely) without the other so it’s ideal!
i have been so depressed all day, you have definitely cheered me up. I needed the “don’t tag yourself”. It has nothing to do with gender or the topic of the video, but it did help me, so thank you!
How? Why? How and why? I really don't get it how someone can be confused about gender. I really try to understand this mindset amd don't want to provoke you. There is no culture except western "culture" where gender confusion exists
it’s great that it cleared up. remember, your gender is not determined by your interests or aesthetics, you’re a person first and foremost, your gender is just the category of human you were born as!
I don’t understand much of it at all, but it seems clear that she is an immensely kind soul and I hope that she is able to find happiness and peace in herself. I don’t personally know that these things she is focusing on are setting her up for true happiness and it does seem strange in most facets. I hope she has good people around her and that she is able to make a great life for herself!
I agree. I think she is just trying to fit in somewhere. She's an awkward kinda person but seems like she's never been mean to anyone in her life. I hope she does find happiness
I think the issue we have stems from social media. No one feels special anymore, so they have to make stuff off and make new identities to get affirmation and feel special
This is exactly what happened to me! When I was 13 years old, I was in a friendgroup who over the quarantine really got into this gender topic. I didn't want to be left out and so I started saying, that I'm not a girl and today I realize that the only time I ever questioned myself was because of that friend group. Thank God I finally realized that I needed to get out of there, also because they became super toxic, calling everyone who was straight or cis eighther homophobic or transphobic.
As I watch more and more of Brett's videos, I feel like I've slowly come to appreciate how much awesome parenting Brett Cooper's mom has done for her. Love the story about inauthentic commenting on friends' posts. It's great to have someone in your life that you trust who can call you out in all the right ways.
I almost put this in my bio because FOR NOW I am the fun aunt but I haven’t written off having babies, I just haven’t locked down the right guy. Much thanks to the psychos for ruining this phase of life for the babies of the family who just have their kids later 🙄 ***Not that child free by choice folks are psycho, but A. The early movement was “I’ll never try for a baby” and the current movement is more “I’m here for post-natal abortion because it’s always a woman’s choice” and B. It originally wasn’t touted as a huge deal because in some cases, like Jennifer Aniston, they WANTED a babies but couldn’t find a good time to do it between career moves and men and then the clock ran out. Or they were infertile and just accepted “the cool aunt” as their role in life so I feel like they’d be offended by the TikTok weirdos planning their abortion parties.
Also the whole "rich auntie vibes" is a thing thats become a whole thing to be desired. The "rich auntie" was the one who could travel, shop, and basically do whatever they wanted due to lack of responsibilities for other's. I guess that's something to be desired 🤷🏾♀️

Amo que hayas escrito este comentario. Se está volviendo peligroso todo este asunto. I live in Japan. I used to live in America before 2020. I go to an American school and there are a LOT of people who say they’re this, this, and that. This started in 6th Grade. We just finished 7th grade and when I tell you most of the people I know can change their gender like over 20 times in like 2 months. I have some Japanese friends and they don’t really know or understand this stuff (the trans and 72 genders stuff) because this, from what I understand, is a very American thing and it’s kinda weird. My parents don’t plan to move back to America and I don’t really want to either.
❤ you survived the genocidal grooming

I'm Glad that You got out of It!
Holy crapoli, kid! You must have driven your parents to the brink of a mental breakdown! 😮
Do you think Brett ever tried to be like the crowd?
i went through the same thing when i was your age (i'm now 20) and i'm so glad i didn't actually listen to the people around me who pushed changing genders and a bunch of weird gender identities. puberty as a girl is so difficult and adjusting to the changes can make you feel uncomfortable in your body but you will grow out of it
Nobody fits in at 13! Give it a few years you’ll realize you’re awesome!
I am old enough to remember growing up in a time where me and my peers hated labels. As teens, we would shake our fists at society (metaphorically) and yell "we don't need no labels."
A generation later , and most teens today care only about their "labels". It is CRAZY how fast it changed.
I am 43 and NOBODY back in the 80's and 90's had any kind of label on them, we all looked at each other the same and treated each other the same.

I thought i was asexual. turns out hormonal birth control just really took away any sex drive or sexual attraction.

I was also brainwashed. Didnt realise until I wasnt bi until I went to high school
If you feel resentment for those friends, remember that they were brainwashed as well.

The current environment rewards this stuff and worse, it condemns being "normal." Straight and gay are normal so we get these stacked identities that are more nonsensical than the next.

hey brett, i’m 16, and i’m a “cisgender” female. ever since i was 14, i thought identified as some nonbinary gender because of my influence from social media and people in my school. until now, i only just realized how blind i was and how i now feel much happier that i don’t need to try and identify as something different to fit in. thank you brett for opening my eyes and sharing the truth! i will definitely keep watching your show.
Girl 🥺 let's be friends. I had the exactly same experience:(((((( I'm so sorry to hear that like pls these people are so shitty doing to the minds of young teenagers.
@@Angela-pr4xh i’m sorry you also had to go through that, unfortunately the world is slowly becoming more and more corrupt :(

I laughed out loud when she said “I hope this clears thing up.” 😂😂
Kaprizov 💚
yeah, as clear as manure in a puddle.
I like how she looks like a literal clown with that make up
I agree with everything you said, what's happening to our world makes me very sad, I've had trouble my whole life making friends because I'm shy, but I've recently realized It's just so hard to feel like you belong in this world, especially as a kid, I don't necessarily want friends as much, because I've seen how crazy and terrible the people in this generation can be, It feels like getting to know people isn't worth it for the most part, I've been very disappointed wasting time and energy on people who never had my best interest, or even cared for me, a lot of people are very selfish now. This is all coming from a 16 year old girl, so stay strong out there fellow teens, hopefully things will get better.
I just turned 17 and during Covid I thought I was a leftist, thank you so much for sharing the truth and helping me realize how blind I was
You’re welcome
17 right now and same here but I never trusted the vaccine to begin with. And later on I’ve just been enlightened more and more to the red side of things
Welcome to the red pilled!
I'm glad you see it. Most kids just accept this stuff at face value.
I'm from the UK. I am a left leaning person.but this "woke" and "fad lgbt" Crew make true lefties look conservative
Brett Cooper is probably the most talented person when it comes to incorporating sponsorships into her videos
Etc… you’re completely right
Lack of a mother figure-Lack of a father figure-Lack of a sense of self

Don't be mean she's human
I have to disagree... It would be easier to agree with your statement if the rest of America wasn't in shambles when it comes to all of this crap. But social media allowed her to think outside the tringle shaped box... This nation is truly free when it comes to expressing yourself LOL !! Trigender is another thing to add to the board of the random shit ppl identify as that makes zero sense.
Everyone is a result of the world around us, we reflect the infinite micro choices that where made by are parents or people we saw from a young age. I knew Brett had a decent reach but didnt know how much of the younger generation she was reaching. So many kids in here that Brett has helped and its heartwarming 🥀🇺🇲
what do you mean help?? she makes fun of people like therians and furries and trans people.
@@Milly_G-cha the fact that you watched the video is also funny.
That line about having a sparkly tiara next to boxes of ammo made me chuckle 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Just thought that was worth mentioning.
okay so what your saying is she blew up, and she got comfortable with her newfound fans, and told them her identity? whatt so crazyyyyyyy
Dang that’s so crazy, wow. So sad
@@soap6364 or got “influenced” into being … trigender???
@@soap6364 Or she hopped on the bandwagon, as many others are doing now that it's fashionable.

All her video are truly so informative and I'm glad you make them 🙏🏼
This is happening to everyone! This is my exact same story I felt forced to be bisexual or a lesbian to be different and intresting
How do you support someone that can't be nice? Explain pls

Brett? You talking about Brett?
Brett you always provide a great mix of empathy and laughing at these people.
Personally I don’t usually enjoy one (completely) without the other so it’s ideal!
Agreed, Brett is sweet and savage at the same time
i have been so depressed all day, you have definitely cheered me up. I needed the “don’t tag yourself”. It has nothing to do with gender or the topic of the video, but it did help me, so thank you!
That ‘What’ from Skeletor 😂
I'm so glad I found you as a high schooler. I went through gender confusion for YEARS and just listening to you has taken it away sm.
How? Why? How and why? I really don't get it how someone can be confused about gender. I really try to understand this mindset amd don't want to provoke you. There is no culture except western "culture" where gender confusion exists
@@arianitonline8748 gender dysphoria
it’s great that it cleared up. remember, your gender is not determined by your interests or aesthetics, you’re a person first and foremost, your gender is just the category of human you were born as!

@ArianitOnline - hmmm… gender confusion and dysphoria not quite the same thing
I don’t understand much of it at all, but it seems clear that she is an immensely kind soul and I hope that she is able to find happiness and peace in herself. I don’t personally know that these things she is focusing on are setting her up for true happiness and it does seem strange in most facets. I hope she has good people around her and that she is able to make a great life for herself!
exactly! that's all we can hope for.
I agree. I think she is just trying to fit in somewhere. She's an awkward kinda person but seems like she's never been mean to anyone in her life. I hope she does find happiness
Agreed
Attentioooo.
WHOA, you have over 3m followers and only been on for a couple of years. CONGRATULATIONS
I think the issue we have stems from social media. No one feels special anymore, so they have to make stuff off and make new identities to get affirmation and feel special
I agree!!

I'm 20, and uninstalling TikTok was the best decision I've made since I existed on this green planet.
Girl same
As I watch more and more of Brett's videos, I feel like I've slowly come to appreciate how much awesome parenting Brett Cooper's mom has done for her. Love the story about inauthentic commenting on friends' posts. It's great to have someone in your life that you trust who can call you out in all the right ways.
Brett trying so hard not to laugh and cry at the same time is so slay😂

The aunt thing is big between the “child free” groups.. it’s the whole “the fun aunt who travels to exotic places and always has money.”
I almost put this in my bio because FOR NOW I am the fun aunt but I haven’t written off having babies, I just haven’t locked down the right guy. Much thanks to the psychos for ruining this phase of life for the babies of the family who just have their kids later 🙄
***Not that child free by choice folks are psycho, but A.
Oh, the lesbian aunt.
It's a fantasy. A sad, empty fantasy.
Scariest thing democrats have done all year---> ruclips.net/video/J0bxLCxi9bk/видео.html
Also the whole "rich auntie vibes" is a thing thats become a whole thing to be desired. The "rich auntie" was the one who could travel, shop, and basically do whatever they wanted due to lack of responsibilities for other's. I guess that's something to be desired 🤷🏾♀️

These people are destroying everything gay people worked and fought so hard to accomplish.
Saludos
I don’t why society nowadays is questioning their identities. Its stupid. We need more people like you who actually know what their talking about

So being comfortable is stupid?
I live in Japan. I used to live in America before 2020. I go to an American school and there are a LOT of people who say they’re this, this, and that. This started in 6th Grade. We just finished 7th grade and when I tell you most of the people I know can change their gender like over 20 times in like 2 months. I have some Japanese friends and they don’t really know or understand this stuff (the trans and 72 genders stuff) because this, from what I understand, is a very American thing and it’s kinda weird. My parents don’t plan to move back to America and I don’t really want to either. It’s not just these people making up genders it’s a combination of a lot of stuff but honestly, this is just really weird.
