The sister had experienced her episodes before and saw them being non violent, in her mind her sister just needed to hand the baby off for a bit while she got a hold of herself, after handing the baby back to the mother the episode resumed and the voices told her the sister was dead there by convincing her that she couldn't give the baby back. It's unclear how aware the sister was of what these episodes consisted of, she likely underestimated the severity of the situation, believing that her sister(the mother) would never hurt the baby because in her mind she could never hurt anyone, the sister isn't to blame, sometimes it's just harder to see the full picture when you're that close to things.

My prayers go out to Audi. Who’s got the mental issues going on but what’s really disturbing is how her sister and mother were so quick to give that baby back knowing that his mother was trying to find help. I would say the fault would be theirs as well because they didn’t help her to find the help that she needed, and the thought of them releasing the baby back to her knowing she’s going through that puts them liable and responsible for these babies death. Knowing how unstable OTTY was they handed him back to her that’s definitely something they gotta live with and then as she finally calm down listen to it the sister says her as if nothing happened. I don’t know somethings fishy about that nonetheless rest in peace to the baby, and I hope that this experience will get many more mental patients to help that they need.

I know a dispatcher that took a call from a Sr citizen that had someone knocking at her backdoor that she didn't know. Unfortunately, and sad to say, he ended up killing her. There was mass confusion on the address so the cops got there too late. The dispatcher that took the call had a major breakdown NINE YEARS after it happened. She took a call from another Sr citizen that sounded like the lady that was killed and she totally lost it and had to retire. She said after it happened she became numb and it took her 9 years to get past it and start feeling again.

People that work that kind of job for several years probably I need some heavy counseling after that. I mean bad 911 operator you could tell in her voice that she was upset by what she heard... They also can go in voluntarily which means they can sign themselves out and can get someone who doesn’t even know anything about why they’re in there to sign them out. @retrogamesmadeeasy8058 4 года назад +18

Honestly, this probably wasn't a lie. The mother in this case was highly delusional and extremely depressed with a mix of a few other issues I'm sure. In the moment she thought her kids were suffering from her divorce so in the heat of the moment she was acting on what she assumed was the solution to all of their problems. After she acted that out her head probably cleared and she did want what was best for her kids.
This is why mental health shouldn't be taken as a joke. People with bi polar, depression, anxiety, psychotic and a lot of other issues can easily fall into a delusional state and do things they normally wouldn't do. The mother is to be blamed for what she did, however, the real culprits are the court and judge who deemed her okay to see her kids and the mental facility that deemed the same.

Meaning not only did she have to endure the attack, she had to watch her mother repeatedly stab them both and then watch her sister showly die right before her eyes. I would've just offed myself if I was the sister who survived. I would never be able to get over seeing that.

The first lady Otty lived 3 houses down from my uncles house here in s.a tx, and I remember the cops who arrived said it was so horrific. The cops requested to speak to a counselor or psychiatrist because out of the 20 something years, that they had served as police they never encountered what they had seen that day. It was a horrible scene and the fact that the hospital sent her home after she requested to stay there because she didn't trust herself with her baby. The system failed her and that newborn baby.

I thought the same thing. She tried to killed her kids and succeeded in killing one of them, but her concern is over not getting shot and maybe saving her surviving daughter to reduce her sentence or something. Then she wants to cop a fucking attitude over being asked normal questions like ‘what’s your name’ and ‘how old are your kids?’ I’d have said something rude, at the very least, like ‘bitch, you stabbed your daughters and you think you can tell me how to do MY job? Maybe don’t fucking stab your kids if you don’t want to answer dispatch calls.’ I know I’d lose my job for that but seriously, it takes a special level of tolerance, patience, and self control to tolerate her.

So glad my postpartum depression only lasted for as long as I was in the hospital. Every time they brought my baby in the room I would scream “take it back!” 😢 After I snapped out of it I couldn’t even imagine saying those words. Needless to say, I’m now an extremely devoted Mom. Ladies, please get help immediately. Even my situation could have turned out really bad. 😢 Postpartum depression is a REAL THING. It’s like the inside of you is screaming and nobody hears your plea until it’s too late

23:57 it's sad to see that this still happens. My best friend was found in the trash, umbilical cord still attached and everything. Except his birth mother put him in a trash sack and set the trash sack on fire. He still has the scars, but he now has a good husband and now is actually trying to adopt a baby girl that they saved and found in a car. There are so many options for people, they can drop their baby off anonymously at a firehouse, hospital, QT, school, libraries, even just knocking on someone's house and running off! So many options but people still chose the worst ones.
Edit: they got their daughter! Her name is Hope

Her actions are no less heroic and make the mother even more evil. Her daughter tried to sacrifice herself for her sister but the mother talked of her as callously as roadkill. So devastating.
