Awesome! Such a good man and thanks for the lessons. Definitely changed my view of him since I always saw him as the enemy since I'm a warriors fan. LOL Steve Ballmer... so inspirational.
Catching up on PF during All Star break! Thanks for this all-around great interview, especially for relating how teachers can positively affect futures; it's encouraging to see philanthropy applied so thoughtfully. 3 months since this aired, I see Steve Ballmer was 100% about winning a chip! To me, Clips did well in free agency, getting Bones, Plumlee, Gordon, and Darling on a 2-way. As a Dubs fan, l anticipate GPll's return with joy; but to turn it around, we need to do better with what we have. Go Dubs!
Unexpected but much appreciated. That was an outstanding and informative interview. Would have loved to hear more about his organization on facts but I can look into that on my own. Thank you guys for the amazing content.
I'm with Steve. I like math and I'm a big statistics guy but for the life of me, I did not like programming. I can do it if I have to but debugging and coming up with algorithms is just no bueno for me. Great interview! Learned a lot from this convo.
He's one of 3 key people who built the second largest company in human history… from scratch. Only *EIGHT* people on this planet have built more wealth. He paid cash for the Clippers, cash for the Forum, cash for the Intuit Dome, donated $750+ million last year for the poor, and has more than enough to buy the remaining 29 NBA franchises. I think it's remarkable he's as humble as he is. Don't worry, he'll win the championship. It's just a matter of time. LA had to wait 20 years and 8 failed championship runs before the Lakers finally won 1 in LA.
You guys have been pulling some heavy hitters in business recently love it!!
