I enjoy your videos, love the commentary. I'm learning a lot from you and Cliff. I'm new to building and I'm currently working on the Guillows Bird Dog. The small parts and pieces are challenging my patients. Best regards from Central Indiana U.S.A.
Thank you for stopping by! Indeed small pieces are a challenge for my fat fingers :) Tweezers help. The final feeling of seeing how the model ends up is great. I would recommend to take pictures of the progress. Then you will be able to look back and see what it looked like as it progressed.
Cute that the daughter gets to have input. I hope her plane flies nicely, but afraid it will be heavy. Really like the fairing you made to blend the wing to the fuselage. Smooth lines.
Thx! I also fear it will be way to heavy. I guess if I get a nice assisted glide I will be happy. In the mean time it looks nice and different up on the cupboard. Thx for stopping by!
I had to add a lot of ballast on my big one as well. By the way it's easier to check the cg on a low wing model by doing it upside down. Very smart looking model, at least you'll find it in long grass in that colour 👍😁
They were flown low level dawn and evening against a pink sky. No arms or armor, just two cameras. If you had what it took to fly those missions, you had what it took to fly in pink.
@@downwindchecklist6567 67% fatality rate. Flew to acquire targets, flew to assess damage, both times against heavily defended targets, unarmed, alone, no cover.

Thx, I'll try that also. And let's see when I manage to get out and fly the models finally!
I like the Reconnaissance paint scheme.
Thank you! I originally wanted an American spitfire, but their recon Spits were blue. So pink it was. I fear it will be too heavy to fly though...
It looks like you have a camera port on the side, there was one underneath, also.
Interesting detail. I did draw in the camera port on the side but didn't realise there was one underneath too. Good to learn something new, thank you!
Is this an insult to the RAF? If this abomination appeared on a British airfield, you'd receive a brisk thrashing.
Granted the tone might be too intense, but pink Spitfires did operate out of British airfields ;)
Undoubtedly flown by French Canadian Homosexuals.@@downwindchecklist6567

@@aeromodeller1 a dream job, but a dangerous one I guess.
