Depends how fast it went down. If you are asleep in a cabin below deck and the first you know is the ship is tilting over on its side, you don't have long to get out before corridors become vertical shafts. if your cabin is facing the wrong way you might not even be able to reach the door at that point, so there's no way to get out.
If they were inside cabins sleeping and woke up after water was engulfed in boat the water means the pressure would not allow them to open the doors of water was coming thru the hallway it would mean the door cant be opened unless there was glass you could try to bust open..

NEVER RENAME A VESSEL - Legend says that when every ship is christened, its name goes into a "Ledger of the Deep" maintained by Neptune (or Poseidon) himself. Renaming a ship or boat means you're trying to slip something past the gods and you will be punished for your deviousness. The British-flagged 56 metre ship - previously called the Salute - was built in 2008 by Italian shipyard Perini Navi, and refitted in 2020.
How many ships were lost in Mediterranian in the last 50 years. How many at night time. How many from, or suspected, from water spouts. Answer - none. = this was not an accident.
But it was said the area had storms for the past 2 weeks,, how many times did the titanic happen?...it was their time,,how many airlines go spiraling down out of the sky?,,IT just happened in Brazil..
I'm down south Croatia near split for the holiday. 2 days ago the most sudden strong wind began blowing, so abruptly and strongly it's like someone turned on an on switch for a storm. I assume the ship sank because it began just as suddenly and was just as strong there.
I realise it was a freak, localised weather event. Still, it really beggars belief that such a large, state-of-the-art boat - a ship really - went straight down the bottom, and none of the many much smaller vessels in the harbour sustained anydamager. And they had the same weather warning
It was a very hot night, it does all point to the crew perhaps may have innocently & with good intention opened hatches & doors to maintain a cooling overnight thru'-breeze throughout the vessel for the guests...& got caught out by the severity of the weather.
@@_Ben4810 Yes, hopefully, the enquiry will clarify things, but it's certainly very odd. A friend of mine is a very experienced professional skipper, and he, too, is in disbelief.
In the early 80's I remember watching a waterspout go right over my little brother in a 6ft inflatable boat, clearly way smaller than what ever sunk this massive craft. Very sad.
The water spout once full of water unlike a tornado that has an upward force has a downward force. If it was to come in contact with the sailing ship near the mast then it would push the vessel down on one side now bringing the mast in contact with the downward force of the spout. If unluckily the spouts route was now along the mast it would start to exercise more and more force as the spout made it's way along the mast. At some point as the spout got closer to the end of the mast the leverage factor would of given the spout with it's downward force the advantage and pinned the mast to the sea's surface. She would of taken on a substantial amount of water and wouldn't of been able to right herself, either due to her design, windows being blown out by the force of the water spout doors or hatches not fully secured or a combination of all three.

I work on superyachts, and I can tell l you Byesian was highly thought of as a legit boat with a top crew. Also, Perinis are well-built and don't just sink. Something must have been catastrophic for this yacht to go down like that. No mayday, no EPIRB, just a red flare, one liferaft deployed, and a bunch of people missing, like they didn't even make it the liferaft.. Whatever happened, it happened FAST.
Lightening my backside, he's a smart guy, there's no way he didn't have this simple piece of kit called a lightning conductor, that is routine on fishing boats, yachts etc, installed on his!. Waterspouts are very rare in Europe, Google suggests there are around 160 a year in Europe. A percentage of those will be over lakes as opposed to the sea. You'd have to be EXTREMELY unlucky to get caught up in one, specially with today's weather forecasting abilities. I'd be very interested to see the shipping forecasts for the past 24 hours for this area. Also hundreds of aircraft cross the Med area daily, if there was any kind of severe storm warnings out, flights have to be redirected to avoid them which can often lead to longer journeys, was this the case? @@James-f6t Do you suggest Geoffrey Epstein took his own life?
😂😂😂😂 bro there's easier ways to take someone out than taking down a yacht with a bunch of people on it especially innocent ones and children.. and 15 people were saved so there was a chance they wouldnt even get the person or persons they were atremptimgto take out anyway. They could have got him walking by himself, poisoned a drink in a bar or restaurant, put a bomb under his car etc. So they conspired a water spout to appear at the perfect time? 😂😂 yeah okaayyy😂😂
You would think wearing life jacket would save the passengers if they got notice and didn’t panic.

@@Lizzybaby30500 Even without water rushing in, if the cabin turns 90 degrees on its side your door may suddenly be in the ceiling ten feet above you and out of reach.

I'm sure Lynch had it comming, but HP has it comming even more.
If you forget to close the landing hatches at the water's edge and don't give a damn about the lightning that arrives and you don't prepare the boat to face such a situation, what can you expect?
I'm starting to think rich people just aren't made for the sea from oceangate to yachts sinking
Well only rich people can only afford these things 🤷♂️
NEVER RENAME A VESSEL - Legend says that when every ship is christened, its name goes into a "Ledger of the Deep" maintained by Neptune (or Poseidon) himself. Renaming a ship or boat means you're trying to slip something past the gods and you will be punished for your deviousness.
The British-flagged 56 metre ship - previously called the Salute - was built in 2008 by Italian shipyard Perini Navi, and refitted in 2020.
How many ships were lost in Mediterranian in the last 50 years. How many at night time. How many from, or suspected, from water spouts.

I'm down south Croatia near split for the holiday. 2 days ago the most sudden strong wind began blowing, so abruptly and strongly it's like someone turned on an on switch for a storm. I assume the ship sank because it began just as suddenly and was just as strong there.
Can not understand why the yacht came closely to the freak storm???
Triangle of Sadness
THE SHIIIP- IS GOING UNDERRRRR xD

Titanic hits iceberg. Yacht gets hit by tornado.
Why would British investigators be needed there? Were they given advance notice of a crime?
Because it is a British registered ship

Yachts don’t just sink, they either took the boat out against advice, or they had an incompetent crew, because no professional would take a boat out with a “tornado”
I would love to know.
There wasn't a waterspout when they went out. Don't be so ridiculous.
