In this fishing video I target the biggest fish in the lake. In a residential lake or pond, normally the biggest and easiest fish to catch are going to be carps. In this fishing trip I proved the point catching 2 very nice grass carp fishing with bread and pack bait.

@@juanpedroza1083 good luck, it can be helpful to chum the waters your going to fish with range cubes and corn a few days in a row to attract them, if chumming is legal where you are.
But otherwise you just need some patience, I normally don’t chum and just let the pack bait do the job.

@@juanpedroza1083 don’t forget to try bread as well. White bread, not wheat. It’s a very good bait for carp used around the world.
Next year, I will resolve to use more bait to catch fish. I love using bread. It's clean, portable, readily available and freezable.

Where do you buy your aligator gar reels i want one with bait runner since ima fish for gar in the summer but cant find them in stores?
I have Penn Fierce and Spinfishers. I get them on Amazon or at Bass Pro Shop. Bass pro has a great extra warranty, if you break the reel they give you a new one off the shelf
How many days do I have to chum an area in order for a carp to come in the winter?
The more days you chum the better. If you chum and fish a spot regularly they will always be in the area but it’s not necessary. This video I didn’t chum at all, just went and fished it.
i like catching carp but a 30 pound cat fights way harder then a 30 pound carp
I also enjoy catching both, but it comes down to species. Common carp out fight channel and blue cats, but flatheads out fight everything in my experience.
Typically I find that cats will fight for a few seconds and then you can basically drag them back with little resistance, but carps and buffalos never stop fighting till they are in the nets.
I’ve fought a 39lb buffalo for over 18 minutes once, but I’ve never had a catfish get anywhere near that energy
