The most beautiful, utterly haunting sound that I’ve heard in a long while. Takes me back to my childhood summers spent in Ireland. Really lovely.
Listening to this heavenly music, for a fleeting moment, l imagine seeing walking through those wonderful landscapes the MOST BEAUTIFUL irish woman in the ancient world : the IMMORTAL ISOLDE.
This has to be one of the most haunting tunes ever written, perfect on the whistle and so many more instruments, this tune has emotion soul i could use somany different ways to discribe how thais tune makes me feel but most of all it tugs at my Irish heart strings, nothing makes my heart miss a beat more than this track , this is my heart song and proud of it well played guys thanks

It looks like she is playing a John Sindt whistle. I don't normally like high D whistles, but it seems whenever I hear a high D whistle tone I like, they are playing a Sindt .

I don't have a Burke, but the tune sounds great on my Sindt, bought from John in 1999 at only $60 at that time.

Absolutely beautifully played,would it be possible to ask is the whistle is D narrow bore or a D session whistle been on Michael Burke web page and they have the both very confusing, you play so well really inspiring regards Andrew
Hey Andrew, sorry only noticing this comment. Yes it is the D Session whistle - packs a bit more punch and I prefer the overall tonal quality
This song was used in the Kevin Costner Robin Hood(or Russel Crowe?) wedding scene But this version is better, best!
