I saw a machine at SEMA like 5 years ago that could do this in 10 seconds without touching the rim itself ever. Meanwhile I’m stuck in ancient times using 3 people and bars to do this
That machine does all of the work for you. You only need to lock it on and tell it where the edge of the wheel and the sensor is. You might have to push a little to get the bottom bead of the new tire on, but the rest is automatic.

are you fucking serious? i could easily take that tire off that wheel by myself, and with the machine at my shop, which is not as fancy as the one he is using, will still get the job done. i guarantee any tech from my shop can easily swap that tire. either you dont have a lot of experience or youre just around a bunch of morons.
One time, I did three sets of 35x12.50 R20 tires all before lunch. They were 10 ply tires. One of them was a dually. It was a regular machine, not one of those automatics.

You also don’t have a Lamborghini. They take care of the rim because if they damage it guess who has to replace it? That rim alone probably costs $8000 just for that rim. Not trying to be rude but that’s just how it is nobody is going to risk it. Half the places you’d call would say they don’t deal with these rims they don’t want liability.

John Doe unnecessary, their are so many techniques to prevent damage you can outside clamp to prevent rim flange damage, and their are rubber guards and sleeves that prevent metal to metal contact
