Laptop Does Not Boot Just Shows Lenovo Logo

- Today’s laptop is Lenovo G500 which hangs in the logo when it turns ON. It was taken to another repair shop before and its Bios has been programmed a couple of times! Because when laptops hang in the logo, it means that the booting process doesn’t get completed properly or that the Bios file is damaged.
This is simple troubleshooting but as the problem might happen to any laptop, we have decided to capture a video about it and share it with you.

Thanks for the video. My Lenovo P580 was having the exact same issue, and upon removing my optical disk drive like in the video, my laptop booted finally.
Now I've just got to tape over the hole on the side of my laptop - but it starts now!

Thank you so much. I removed the optical drive which was not working for years and the laptop booted.
Thank you. In my case I removed bios battery and after few sec reconnected. It works.

I won't even try it. It was the first and last time I bought #Lenovo technology. Sorry, but I just had problems from the start with this laptop I bought for my fiance some years back. One could argue that I should've sent it back for repair while I had the warranty, but I don't even care now. It was slow, a load of software I didn't need and couldn't even get rid of, a graphics card that was supposed to be able to handle gaming, couldn't even handle old games. This is going out the window. I'm gona pretend I didn't spend 800$ on it. It never happened.

This video has helped! In my case, it's the CD/DVD reader which prevents the BIOS to boot. What could be wrong with this drive?
What do you do, do you put the CD/DVD reader back inside
What is that you connected there? The one that has error code? And where to buy one?
some component does not wake from sleep. PC waits for it to respond and does so till end of time. Updating drivers can work for the component causing this. Either via windows update or manufacturers website that has specific drivers. Go with windows update first. Or maybe some hibernation settings in bios
Bios also not open after press fn+f2

jajajajaj, it just worked, jajajaja, i don't know what i did, but it just worked, thanks you're the best. i just followed this video, after i removed the wireless card the boot logo disappeared, so vased on your video this its supoossed to be the problem, but then i contiuend, removed the cd driver also, the put everything back, and now its working, well i put everything except the cd room, and its working, but like said before, boot logo ended when i removed the wireless card, thanks bro you're the best, but i just can't keep laughing because i didn't expected it to work but it did.

Hi. I have a ThinkPad S531, which is stuck on the ThinkPad Logo, I can get into the BIOS, but it won't boot to BIOS and it does not show the boot sequence/F12 boot menu is not opening, it's just going to a nice blank screen. I have no clue of what that could be. Is it possible to "possibly" fix this issue? I'd be thankful..

If your battery is dead it will get stuck on the logo. First I tried a
hard reset,that is when to turn off power/ disconnect power adapter/take
the battery out/ press and hold power button 3 times for 20 seconds
each time. That did not work for me. What I did find out is; with my
battery out I plugged in the ac adapter and it finally went into
windows. I tried putting the battery back ,again it was stuck on the HP
logo. I took the battery out again and it worked again. I just need to
buy a new battery.

Bro I have Lenovo Thinkpad e575 and it's suddenly hang while I am browsing the chrome and then blue screen appears then I turn off then turn on then it's shows bootmgr is corrupt then I turn of and on then it's showing a Lenovo logo and automatically turn on and still logo and then again turn off on plzz help me out what's the problem I didn't have idea about that so plz help meeee😢

Thanks man! In my girlfriends laptop the problem was faulty touchpad. Weird thing is, thas it was non-functional for some time (girlfriend was using wireless mouse instead) and BIOS started to mind just now...
So you remove touchpad and than it's worth?
@@ikhwan7981 Yes, i disconnected the cable (leading from touchpad to motherboard) and the problem was solved. But you have to use regular mouse instead...

another problem which is common is solved by removing usb cables or anything else plugged in, as the laptop tries booting windows from that cable and not from the hdd or sdd. 👍

یمدت کدی درایو تون رو دربیارید ببینید تکرار میشه یا نه اگه دیدید اذیت نمیکنه مشکلتون یا از کدی درایو تون هست یا هارد دیسک داخل کدی درایو
