I get the ease availability, but at that price you can get a heck of an Ali brand watch from San Martin or Cronos 🤷 which are actually pretty good for the money and have pretty solid QC comparatively.
Fossils are OK. IMO... they must be used as a fashion piece to complement a particular outfit. However, as a daily beater... it will be beaten to death quickly.
I bought my sister 2 of the Fossil Disney Mickey Mouse watches. Miyota, small seconds, no date and automatic. A special edition with traditional Mickey Mouse watch. A limited edition Tennis Mickey Mouse watch. She collects Disney and is happy with them.
Movements are mostly Citizen-Miyota, Seiko Instruments Inc. VD## or Seiko Solar quartz (Seiko Caliber VS42A)as my solar fossils have. The GMT Fossil uses is Ronda 515.24H. The Sport Tourer uses Seiko Instruments Inc. VK67

Bracelets are usually really really cheap and their quartz movements just die..albeit after several years but, still. And they’re over priced.
Just buy a orient or casio instead.
I, for one, started two years ago with an Orient Tristar, I have never had Fossil watches.
